Betcha never heard Shorty Medlock blow the opening to the song "Train,Train" by Blackfoot....too bad there is not a copy I can find on Youtube Dood, You have sorely neglected a lot of the musical possibilities...
Ourdee, not sure you would want to hear me playing around the campfire at HC - I had one as a kid and am just picking it back up. Still pretty new to it I got a Hohner Special 20 diatonic for Christmas and have since picked up a couple others to try out. Just looking for some tips from any BadWeb pros that may be out there.
RD, I am going to bring my bagpipes to HC just for you! Like everything else musical tastes are personal favorites. "Train, Train" brings back memories of fishing for Walleye with my Dad and brothers, about the only time we were not fighting about some piss ant thing.
#2 There's nothing wrong with a harmonica i find that some of the best songwriters of all time use them quite well. See Bob Dylan and Paul Simon for detail.
Can't hold it against Froggy...he's still a pup...or is that a tadpole? After the Led Zepplin remarks....I'm listening to "Whole Lotta Love" as I type... And Froggy is most likely going Bob who??..Paul who?....and if you brought up Who..he might say Who who???
Bagpipes echoing off the Echo Wall of the Königsee (King's Lake) in Germany. It still gives me goosebumps just remembering it after more than thirty years. It was one of the most awesomely beautiful things I have ever heard.
