Yeah it's the one I was hit on. It has a certificate of destruction though. I won't be able to rebuild it and it be street legal.  | ||

whyd they total it, much less give it a certificate of destruction? it doesnt hardly look damaged at all. although i just skimmed over it... | ||

Damage to the frame. Hell most of the Buell's on that site don't look bad, but have some frame damage. | ||

As Froggy stated, the frame. H/D told me the day my dad brought it to them to inspect. That scuff is a decent size dent. I the truck that hit me sat just 2 inches lower it would have been fine and I wouldn't have rods in my leg...lol. I'm tempted to still buy it and replace the frame. I never tried to turn the motor over after the accident and I do know if was really tough to get it in neutral to roll it off the truck. My dad and brother picked it up off the side of the rode and put it in a truck. They never tried to turn the motor either. God I miss that bike! That was the orange header wrap I was talking about though Greg! | ||

Anyone ever bought anything from that website? I put a bid in on it but it's not showing it. It also seems that once you bid your bidding to bid? Doesn't seem to make sense! |
