Bump We have a couple of rooms left for the April Buell weekend - but the rates are no longer available online. If you are interested in coming, please call us today or tomorrow or we will need to release those remaining rooms to the general public. Also, we have a Bunkroom that has 4 twin beds. One is spoken for and the other 3 are now being opened up to your group. The cost is $25 per person per night. Twin bunk and access to common showers and living room area with TV and computer. These can only be booked by calling The Lodge. 706-835-7433. For those of you coming in on Thursday- that is Bike Night and we will have food and drink specials as well as entertainment for you. We are very excited about the April Buell Day events. With The Dragon closed you'll have a good time discovering some of our "better" and "unknown" roads of the area. Thanks HB | ||

Hey Jeremy- when are you and Tom heading down? Unless I get a wild hair to head down a day or 2 early, I'll be convoying down Friday with Vern and co., bringing up the rear on the old Shovel. (Yes, I'm still waiting to get the CityX back on the road...) Basically I'm looking for an excuse to spend an extra day or 2 next week out in beauuutiful N. GA before I have to be back on Saturday for new job orientation. (If I can find a way to do my orientation early, I'd be in for the whole weekend. I'll work on that.) Let me know, buddy... | ||

Alright...I wasn't sure if we would get it finished - and we have 1/2 done, so I'm opening up the BUNKROOM for the weekend. Currently, it has 4 twin bunks with access to living area, TV, computer, and showers in The Lodge. Comes with all your linens and amenities. Cost for the this weekend is $30 per person, per night. Great alternative to camping and a great place to crash for the last minute folks who can get away to April Buell Day at Copperhead. Reservations have to be made by calling the Lodge at 706-835-7433. I just confirmed with my three local riding compadres' that we are using the Bunk house. Call Michelle at the number above for possibly more rooms not listed on the web site. We are meeting in Maryville Tn. at the Shoney's restaurant for breakfast at 9:00 Friday morning. It is on Lamar Alexander Parkway 321 where 129 crosses it. We will top off the gas tanks after breakfast (we don't want leaking as the sun warms up the tanks, like has happened in the past, into one particular helmet  ). Anyone passing through, and all of you Knoxville/East Tennessee riders are welcome to join us. We will begin the adventure right after breakfast by hitting the twistiest way we can find to Blairsville. If you are coming from the North East or where ever, and need a layover Wednesday or Thursday night near Knoxville Tn shoot me a PM. I have plenty of room for camping, or to leave your truck and trailer, so that you can ride in with us. | ||

Vern, are you, 86129squids and I the only Badwebbers excited about heading to N GA this week? Doesn't seem to be much chatter about it.  I'm clearing the lowcountry on Thursday and coming at least part way. Planning on being there early Friday. Still debating on whether to haul one bike or two. | ||

Hey Hugh, I don't know what is happening. The masses are quiet for sure. There is a little more on Storm Fronts, but not like in years past. But there are a lot of reservations at the lodge, so mebby everyone is working real hard to make that extra hundred bucks for the weekend.  I don't think many folks are in a comfort zone like we all used to be, work or business wise. Making for less chatter, just show up and ride mentality.....what do you think?  .....like Jerry perhaps.....speechless? | ||

Vern- you may be right. Looks like we may wind up with a different crowd from the normal March Badness bunch. AFAIK, I'm the only SC Bueller attending, and I dropped a post in the C3 forum asking who's coming and got no responses. It's all good- hopefully the new location will make it an even better outing. | ||

Slip, don't let that hold you back! Most of us secretly harbor something outside the Buell brand!  I say that as I am sitting in my office beside the new cam and followers that recently came in for my LX250. The Bunkhouse is not going to be full at this point. I have just confirmed that three of the spots will be open, they may be able to park me in a snore zone somewhere else, so if someone needs a room for four I can easily play along. | ||
