When can I order this airbox cover, and can it at least be modified to fit an XB? http://gallery.mac.com/thomas_wanner#100114/barrac uda-airboxcover&bgcolor=black Am I nuts, or would that just be about the sickest look on a black Uly? |

That looks badass! But I don't think it'd fit over the XB airbox. It looks to low and flat. |

Sounds like a challenge to me! |

XB and 1125 airbox covers are the same, fitment wise. |

Yes but the 1190 has a different frame and different inner airbox. All bets are off if the outer cover will fit. |

I"m thinking it would but might require a low profile open element filter |

Thanks Frank, I didn't know the 1190 was a different frame. I knew they used a different intake track etc. With the shower head injectors above the TB's I would have expected the airbox to actually be taller. (Message edited by ccryder on April 21, 2010) |

All bets are off if the outer cover will fit. I remember when all bets were off that one could put an R tail on an S... |

Yea but the R and S use the same frame and mounting points, so its an easy answer. |

It's easy now, because it's been done. The argument then was the wiring harness is different, the subframe is different etc. The way I see it, unless the dimensions are way off, it's doable. Fabrication needed, but when was a Bueller beyond a little fabrication? |

Froggy, Does the 1190RR have a different frame? I don't recall ever eyeballing that bit of info. Could you point me down the path where you found that? thanks |

Source is a former Buell worker. Next to nothing was carried over from the 1125 to 1190 bikes. You can see the difference in the photos at the link above. |

Well, crap balls! I reckon you are correct about the frame. I was really hoping that monster was built off the 1125. Bummer. |

Is the frame-frame different? Or just the rear subframe? |
