now that I have your attention. No. Homecoming isn't canceled. We've reached the final stretch to the event. We thought we had so much time. I can't believe this all started over 5 months ago. Finishing touches were part of our meeting last night. I was not able to attend, so Steve MacKay will have to fill in the details. I do know that we still need people that want to do the track day to sign up by May 15th. My understanding is if we don't meet the 100 people by then, it will be opened to the general public. I hope it doesn't come to that, but I see the need. Ride maps will, hopefully, be posted to our site soon. For those not wanting to ride at nor attend the track day, we will have alternate plans in place. Tee shirt sales are not going as well as we hoped. The Sign Shop has invested their own time for design and layout of the shirts. They also have other plan s for Homecoming at no cost to us (the committee). If you're planning on purchasing a shirt, I wouldn't wait till the last minute. It's coming up on their busy season. Remember you can have them shipped or pick them up at Homecoming. There are still some concert tickets left as well. Erik and The Thunderbolts are on the verge of hitting the big time! Don't miss it!! Boy, the ideas we had. We tried hard to secure a 2010 1125R for a raffle. However, Wisconsin's Raffle Laws just made it more difficult than we though, so we had to abandon the idea. Homecoming Canceled!!??! Dana, I damn near had a hear attack when I read that headline! Don't do that to me, I'm too old for that kind of shock. But once again, I just want to say that I think you guys have done a SUPER job of organizing this year's Buell Homecoming! THANKS!!!!! | ||

I hope so Don.LOL We gave it are all on our spare time. Like Rocco has said though. The Sign Shop has donated considerable amount of time making just stickers for the event. The T-shirts are of great quality. Don't hesitate to order. Will has more instore for this event. | ||

I really, really want to come but I won't know if I can make it until after graduation in May. I'll have to wait and see how much money I have available. | ||

 Rocco... Dammit! DON'T DO THAT MORE routes will be on our web site shortly. I've got 3 more routes somewhat planned out. I'm going to try and ride them in the next 2 weeks to verify that they will be appropriate, with no hairy surprises. | ||

Steve... don't know if you really want to do this, but if you have any routes up here in my neck of the woods, (like Holy Hill or Kettle Moraine Northern unit or wherever for that matter ) I would be more than happy to check them out for ya. I have plenty of time on my hands these days. Just figured I would through it out there, in case you might not have the time! |
