But, yeah, I wouldn't pay to listen to Palin, Or Obama, Or any Clinton. Goes against the grain. ( don't forget Billy boy got very very rich from speaking engagements, many in foreign lands where his brand of bushbashing goes over well, oh, and the bribes are pretty sweet too....)
But not to heap scorn on any one politician, paying one to speak is not my bag, man.
Oh, and thanks for once again showing your lack of couth and actual meaningful content by calling names.
You do have a point though... people will try and make a buck off anything, and an actual grassroots movement without leaders is ripe for exploitation. Something to watch out for.
As is the idea that "teaparty" is an actual political party. If it becomes one, it's going to go sour, fast. Let the SEIU guys field "actual" parties to defeat their less pliant Dems. Divided they fall, which is a cornerstone of wise, but evil politicians forever. ( and a main tactic of the current admin. )
My thoughts are these: 1. The government is spending way too damn much money. 2. The spenders in government are insatiable, therefore when they can't get enough from us they borrow it in our name. 3. They hope if they can get us to argue over who should be taxed how much we won't think about points one and two.
So far point three seems to be working in their favor.
I just finished my first month working at my new job. There is no office space for me so I am crammed in a conference room with three other engineers who are here on visas and they are not tuned into the American experience yet.
You should have seen the look on my team mates face when he received his first paycheck yesterday only to find that 50% of his earnings had been withheld, mostly by the government. I gave him a wink and a big smile and welcomed him to America. I told him that Obama thanked him also. They had just escaped Socialism only to find it creeping in here.
I really hope people like my team mates become American citizens because they are a valuable addition to our country and will probably vote with a Conservative philosophy.
Only a liar or an ignoramus would imply that Gov. Palin received her recent windfall from tea party speaking appearances.
Liars suck.
The Former governor of Alaska wrote a book that became a best seller before it was even released. That's a big problem for the sexists progressives who depend on envy, hatred, and miserable class warfare for their ideological strategy.
They refuse to debate actual issues or ideas. In that they always lose, so they follow Alinsky doctrine instead. Personal attack, lies, misdirection, and deception.
And then they wonder why honest Americans despise them so.
I was wondering what our esteemed friend, m2me, was up to as he hasn't spewed his sputum and lies here lately. I was hoping that he was awakening and beginning his long journey of conversion from Socialism to Conservatism. Alas, that appears to be for another day. I can hardly wait for him to require medical attention only to find the brave new world that he has helped create.
Liars do indeed suck. 'Things' masquerading as men that lie suck even more.
I'm a huge fan of Gov. Palin...if she does nothing else her ability to make the communists/socialists/progressives/liberals go from zero to apoplectic in record time is worth the price of admission. Just mention her name to one of the communist v2.0 drones and they meltdown.
