My buddy laid on the bathroom floor and begged for his wife to shoot him, they hurt so bad. I don't think my wife has that much sympathy for me, but she did come home with this on Tuesday. She's also joining a group called the Blastin' Babes.
I love the fiber optic front sight on that thing! |

So now you guys who have had have kidney stones can relate to a woman in labor. Actually, kidney stones hurt more than labor pains. At least having labor pains produces a beautiful child. I've had to start many IV's on you poor guys and start pushing drugs. They are nice drugs tho. |

Thanks for the heads up Hacksaw. I think I'm in the clear though. They did check me out with a cat scan in the hospital and only spotted the one stone. It's coming up on 3 full days with no more symptoms, so I'm crossing my fingers. Jumpinjewls, you are my hero! |

Sifo, it's probably a good idea to have the stone analyzed to see what you may have to change in your diet. That would be to prevent any further stones. When I quit drinking milk after my first one, it helped. But 6 years later I had another, then a couple more spaced out through the years after that. I was told it could be from carbonated beverages leeching out calcium from my bones. Can't quite give up on beer though. |

I was told all I could do was drink lots of liquid, water being the best. The doctor said my stones start from oxilates which is covered with calcium. |

Mine have always been pretty small and I have been able to pass them. Don't think for one moment that just because they are small that they don't cause GREAT pain. When 20mg of Demoral just dulls the pain, you know it HURTS! Neil S. |
