My Buell Homecoming trip seems to get more and more extreme... Long story short, it would be less time and miles to ride from the Black Hills to the Pacific Ocean than it would be to turn around and ride back home, so I'm seriously thinking about this as an option. The hang up? I'd want someone in California who could possibly give me a place to crash, maybe show me around for a day and, most importantly, give me a ride to the airport and help me arrange things with a shipping company for the bike. Without these things I just can't do the trip. I don't have enough vacation time to ride back as well. I have no idea on a final destination - right now I have a tentative route that ends in the L.A. area, but that was only because I passed through Las Vegas - anything on the CA coast is a viable option. I'm getting a little older, I have a house and dog already, and I'm sure a wife and kids aren't too far off, so this might be my last chance for my goal of a coast to coast ride to happen before I retire (which is a LONG ways aways). Help a brotha out! PM me if you think you'd be able to help - I would plan on getting into town around June 25, 26. | ||
