Funny how some people get so upset by the closing of a company's division they boycott their products yet trying to get people to boycott clothing made in offshore sweat shops is almost impossible
My brother used to have a Honda Valkyre that he'd power slide around like that. I don't usually like the cyclesaurus bikes but that triumph is looking pretty cool.
D_D, Thank you sir. I cannot imagine folding up for an all day affair on the Honda Speed Triple is nearly unsupportable in my local area, but I'll have a look-see.
Ditto. I despise the marketing hype that they're attaching to it, but it's not a bad looking machine at all. If I was gonna' get a cruiser, that would be way up on my short list.
D_D, My reading comprehension sucks...guilty. You wrote "CB1000R" and I read 'CBR1000RR.' I'd ride that Honda, but apparently it won't be available in the states.
Quote from TwoBuells "Hey Paul, go and buy that Fatbob just make sure you keep your Buell. and if you buy assless chaps I will not talk to you again."
Mike, you will never catch me in a pair. In fact I will probably be the only rider wearing full gear including full face on an H-D up here in Saratoga, if I decide to buy it.
P.S. I will never get rid of my Firebolt...Maybe some day it will morph into a Diablo.
My preference is A Speed Triple or a CB1000R - work fine out of the box.
I was looking at a Speed Triple before I got my 1125R. Just something about them that I really really like. The triple? Seating position? Not sure what, but I like it.

Go grab ANY 10 of your Harley-Davidson t-shirts and read me the labels.
If you want to experience something MUCH MORE frustrating . . . try having a small motorcycle company trying to source parts in America only to be told "we don't want any orders less than 10,000 units".
I have a friend who went through something like that.
