My wife and I go to Team Winnebagoland in Oshkosh. They are a Yamaha,Kawi dealer but have quite a selection of coats, gloves, and even a few bags. They are very helpful and if they don't have it they will order exactly what you want. Though it is a little far from Madison, it would be a nice ride. |

I bought my Lady a Langlitz pants and jacket about a decade ago and am still reaping the rewards. Expensive? Not if you figure it annually. |

I bought a couple cortech lrx jackets for both my girls (one daughter and one fiance). Awsome jacket has a mesh outer shell with armour, a rain liner and a thermal liner. Wish they made this jacket in a mens style. |

Spidey... I took care of that a while ago... Anyone got Kevlar jeans? I am starting to feel vulnerable in regular jeans, probably wouldn't do shit if I went down.. |

Have a look at www.newenough.com for really good prices. The "Dragon Jeans" are nice and comfy, and do a pretty good job at abrasion protection, but suck at impact protection. If you go light weight, get something with at least some knee protection. Knee on pavement hurts, even if they're not too skint up. |

Doz, it's called the HRX and I would have bought it if they had long/tall sizing but the sleeves and legs would be way too short. Ended up with Tourmaster Flex2/Flex for my suit. The Flex2 has ladies sizes, I haven't done enough miles in mine to really say that it will last a long time, but it is nice so far. The Flex pants also list women's sizes so it might be an idea for you. http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/catalog/Flex-Serie s-2-Jacket-p-248_3.html http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/catalog/Flex-Pant- p-237_4.html I was relatively happy at 35-40 with jeans and a shirt with the liners in (face got really cold though, and could have used winter gloves), and similar jeans and a shirt at 80 in full mesh mode. Axo Primato II boots and Cortech Adrenaline gloves. Flex2 in gray, gloves in matching gray. Pants in black because that's all they offer, and boots in white because the black ones would have been too much black with the pants. The gray matches the frame on my 03 9R so I'm pretty color coordinated with my white plastics. Lots of reflective stuff all over the suit for those times you are out at night. At the end of the day I would expect to be safer than jeans alone if I hit the pavement, especially if I'm wearing the jeans underneath which is how I sized everything. I feel safer all bundled up. Note that the leg cuffs may be a little bulky! The Primato II boots have huge leg openings so tucking the pant cuff in is no problem. |

I love(d) the Tourmaster I have... wore the shite out of the jacket over 10 years... still wear the pants... that one you posted, Greg, I will definitely hunt for... it would be nice to have one set that does it all... thanks... How does the mesh hold up in a crash? Is that some kind of special more durable mesh or not so? |

Can't say I've tested it in a crash and hopefully never will. Seems pretty strong so I would expect it to stay together. Most of the contact points are Cordora which has been pretty proven. The back protector is kind of wimpy, better than nothing but eventually I'll find something else that fits the pocket. The rest is CE approved and seems decent. |

If you are looking for riding jeans, try Diamond Gusset: Diamond Gusset Jeans They are made in TN. The best part is that you can custom order a pair made to your measurements. They advertise "men's" sizes but will be happy to provide you with the perfect jeans. Kevlar reinforced in the knees, hips, and butt. |

Do they have CE rated armor in the knees? Padding around the hips? Two things I would call kind of essential. The one thought I had about the mesh suit is that if it is really hot I could probably wear shorts and still be pretty much the same level or protection as pants under the mesh. |

Kevlar jeans are a step above basic jeans and below armored pants. Were I looking for jeans I could wear to work and look halfway normal, they probably wouldn't be armored. Most looking for "riding jeans" are looking for the comfort of jeans but with more shred resistance than basic jeans. If you are going to insist on CE armor, you might as well go with full riding pants, mesh, textile, or leather. |

Char, Vetesnik's own MadCity PS on the northeast side of town, out by the 51/39-90-94 interchange. Not sure if their inventory is the same but might save you time unless you are looking for a ride also. |
