I know they are gone, I need a new temp. controller for my vest. Anyone know where to find parts? Maybe some other company offers adapters? |

Here are some Widder parts - I don't know if they have what you need though... http://www.ibaestore.com/products.asp?MainCatID=2& CategoryID=45 |

Lastcyclone- I bought a heat controller from the IBA guys a couple of months ago. No problems with ordering from them. |

Widder's gone? Oh no. Oh well, look no further than Aerostich Rider Wearhouse for a thermostat and assorted cables and hookups. |

LOL. Never heard of that thermostat, but I just designed an built one that has almost an identical feature set... At least if it also senses the temperature and adjusts accordingly (mine does, and I assume that one does, though they don't mention it). I snuck in a couple of other easter eggs as well, but they might of as well. It's an obvious enough solution to a common problem. Mine has a design spec of 130 watts... I wonder if theirs will let out the magic smoke before mine will. ![: )](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/happy.gif) |

I got a pair pf widder glove's and they are crap! 1 season and they stopped working second time used they ripped at seams. I am thinking heated grips are far better and reliable now! (Message edited by preybird1 on April 09, 2010) |

Can't speak for the gloves, but the vest I've got does well enough for being a size too big. Russ, got grips on the XB and am still farting around with them for the M2, having to drill my cnc dash from a.s.b. set me back as I was kind of freaked about wrecking the thing. I ordered a 19" pig tail connector from the Iron Butt Assoc store and it came in in four or five days, no problems there. Wish they had some arm chaps to sell me. |

Natexlh1000 The system one vests on the IBA site are only $60 and the wiring isn't very much either, way cheaper than the new Widder stuff on ebay right now. System 2 are much more limited in sizes but their price is pretty reasonable as well. |

I've been using a System 2 vest for four years and think it's great. The connecting gloves for three years. The gloves are only used for below 30 degree rides, the connectors are bulky and get in the way, but they have held up really well and sure keep my hands warm. I decided on Widder to maybe send one less job to China. The prices from IBA are truly deals but I would assume are in very limited supplies. The System 2 vest was $125 when I got it. |

Don't anybody drill holes for heated grips switches... I have a much better solution. I'm kinda stuck here... I'm not a sponsor yet and haven't found a current board sponsor that wants to retail them yet... so I can't talk much about the (simple) solution yet. But I hate to see people drilling holes in Buells (or CNC Buell dashes) while I am working out logistics... |

Too late for me... prolly could have fit the micro togle switch I got into the r/h switch gear now that I think about it, but would rather not have any kind of toggle there. A mini rocker would have been nice though.
