Well, it's that time of year again, Opening day tomorrow. I'm thinking about subscribing to MLBtv so I can watch whichever games I want wherever I am. Questions are, is it any good? is it worth 100 dollars? what's the picture quality like? bearing in mind I only get about 2.5 meg here. Any comments, opinions, or ideas on other options gratefully received. Thanks in advance. Oh yeah &... GO CARD'S |

Huge baseball fan. I've never used MLBtv though. all depends on the quality of the video card in yor computer and your connection speed. A couple years ago I ordered the package Direct TV offered. It was great. Boston comes on enough through the various networks pick up to not justify spending the money on the package any longer. GO SOX! YANKEES SUCK! |

I was thinking about this too. I wonder if multiple computers can be logged into the same account... hmmmmh |

correct me if I'm wrong (and I hope that I am) but it looks like you can watch every game but your local teams game "Regular Season Local Live Blackout: All live games on MLB.TV and available through MLB.com At Bat are subject to local blackouts. Such live games will be blacked out in each applicable Club's home television territory, regardless of whether that Club is playing at home or away. If a game is blacked out in an area, it is not available for live game viewing. If you are an MLB.TV Premium subscriber and not within either Club's home television territory, the applicable game will be available as an archived game as soon as possible after the conclusion of the game. If you are an MLB.TV Premium subscriber within either Club's home television territory or an MLB.TV subscriber in any territory, the applicable game will be available as an archived game approximately 90 minutes after the conclusion of the game. Archived games are not available through MLB.com At Bat." |

I'm a Cubs fan so you will receive no help from me. In all honesty I've never used the MLBtv so I don't know |

I've looked at their blackout rules & as I live outside the US I don't get any blackouts. Drkside, I won't hold it against you. I made my pilgrimage to Wrigley a few years back, sadly I never made it to Busch before they tore it down. I'll probably take out the base package. Let you all know how it turns out. |
