Would have loved to have had a big old Cummings turbo diesel, but those suckers are expensive. |

Made in Turkey. They look useful though, a little small inside. I've been looking at vans lately, there are some unsold '08 Sprinters around, those I like. I'm with Chadhargis, stick with and reward Ford. |

I swear by Toyotas. I had a 99 Tacoma and loved it. It was uber reliable. In 170,000 miles the only repair was an o2 sensor. I'd be driving it today if my son hadn't tried to take out a tree with it. Mine was the 2 wheel drive version but they come in 4 wheel. I got 17-18 for around town commuting and even my 6 foot 1 son was comfortable in it. The Tacoma is a great vehicle that will serve you well. |

Not anymore. Toyota closed the American factory but still makes in Japan and Mexico. All the dealer stock I've looked at recently still say Fremont, CA (NUMMI) for the origin. Since they just stopped at the end of March it will probably be that way for a while. And they moved production of the Tacoma to their San Antonio, TX Tundra plant; not quite Mexico (though they've been assembling some there too for a while, most are still US.) That new Ford transport is nice. If you have the ramps... the XB will fit in there nicely. It would take some adjustment to get a Uly in (parking it caddy woompus) Perfect for the small privateer wanting to go to the races. |

Uly, if you can hold off until the Res Ride, check out this dealership when you come to town: http://www.blueknobauto.com The sell low mileage (for the most part) basically new cars and trucks. Inventory turns fast, usually 2 weeks or less, but it will give you an idea of what they have and the price range. |
