Rah that is a postitive way to look at it. I mean look at people who pay thousands of dollars to put there log on the side of something just for advertisment. then you get your logo put on something for free and every one wants to rip the person a new butt hole. I do see the other side of it too though were you worked hard to come up with a logo design and what not to identify your brand and some one is using it to make a quick buck which sucks. |

Sad part is that if the guy's prices were really good, and the stuff quality products, there might be a business deal to be had. He might have been able to license the logo for a share of the profits so that there are no up front cost involved, then you just have to hope that he is honest enough to report the real profits or percentages. Turning a nasty situation into a win for both sides. Might be worth contacting the guy and seeing if he is interested (just in case "anonymous" happens to read this. |

well From EB's face book he says he has some one working on a shirt deal already and I am sure he wants to deal with U.S. people not people from china. (Message edited by firebolt020283 on April 03, 2010) |

Once a person is dishonest with me, I never trust them again. |

Lets see... I've got a South American cocaine, marijuana and heroin operation going with wildly successful international distribution. Maybe the pharmaceutical companies want to do business? That'd be cool. ...it's not like people in the US of A don't know that there are people who are willing to rip off legit copyright holders. Some crappy t-shirt sales do NOT help the brands being ripped off. You think the Twilight movie needs the help of a Hong Kong t-shirt pimp? You think Fox moto-clothing needs their help? You don't think that these companies could get Chinese (or other Asian, South Asian or Central American or Mexican) manufacturing if they felt that was advisable? You'd think they were Harley Davidson getting skullz and flamez on bandannas? |

I no doubt can see EB's frustration. He is working on his own shirt deal, with that I wouldn't want someone making a knock off. And feel they should stop. But to ME personally, I'm never gonna make a T-shirt for XBLights, so as long as it looked good and didn't say "sucks" at the bottom I could care less. BUT, let's be real here... XBLights is a very small gig and about 99.9999% of people would think " what the hell is XBLights? Scion parts???" |

Was he making Erik Buell Racing shirts or Buell American Motorcycle shirts? I could see the issue with EBR, but BMC no longer exists although I understand it is still copyrighted under HD, so if he is doing BMC shirts then HD is getting ripped off right, and then my other question is, who cares at this point? |

It was EBR shirts, hence the title of the thread "Erik Buell Racing being ripped off" |
