Excelsior #004 is now being offered at $149,000 USD.

I read the whole story (on his web site) that guy is dedicated.

Board trackers are so sick.
I love those old 8V Indians.
I would love to hear the din of an army of them flying down a track!

I love those old 8V Indians.
The Harleys were 8V too.
That's why Excelsior came out with the OHV.
Indians and Harleys were toast after that.

It's amazing how little he had to work with.
Picture of one side of the engine, and an old case.

The story about why there are no Excelsior board trackers.

Nate; if you want to hear a sound that will make the little hairs on your arms and neck stand up; then go see the Springfield Mile. Not only does it sound like nothing else, but the racing is really freakin' incredible.

You can also come to upstate New York for the Rhinebeck Grand National Super Meet in June. Awesome show. You will see original board trackers running around the fairgrounds, as well as vintage European and Japanese race bikes, steam-powered motorcycles, electric motorcycles, hill climbers, all kinds of crazy stuff. Lots of fun.

Last year, I went to Rhinebeck and picked up a speeding ticket on the way home. I was caught doing 70 in a 55 on the Taconic Parkway (I was trying to out run a thunderstorm). It cost me $235.00!!!

Oh yeah, if you go to Rhinebeck, stay off the Taconic.
