A guy here at the current temp job told me about a new alarm from Scorpio: http://www.scorpioalarms.com/products/motorcycle/r linksr-i1100/ Anyone have any input on this alarm? I used to have an alarm from a now defunct company on one of my bikes, drained the battery in the off season and left me temporarily stranded once when it malfunctioned so I ripped it out when I got home from that episode a few years ago. I'm thinking of getting one again since I'll probably end up working in a marginal area soon and would like something on the bike. Thanks for any input, or for redirection links if this has been discussed already. |

WOW! It looks nice but $595.00 is steep! |

I have an Internatrix TW-1000 on the way, should do the most basic functions and a lot cheaper. But I bet the Scorpio is real nice too if you have the coin. |

I use a gorilla alarm, inexpensive, makes noise, and disables ignition. works for me! |

If Raleigh is a dog then that would be a little difficult to manage while parked at a job site. I've got three bikes, one going up for sale again soon, so I might just get another length of chain and park near a telephone pole. If I had just one bike I'd probably spring for the super alarm since the cost is less than the insurance deductable, but having slept on it I'm starting to rethink the options. Thanks for the input. |
