Well you can download a trial from adobe but if you want a 'free' copy you will have to do your research |

I suggest looking for the GIMP. You can download that for free LEGITIMATELY. |

+1 on the GIMP. There is no legit way to get a free copy of software you are supposed to pay for. AND, because of that fact I strongly discourage people from visiting sites that offer such bootleg copies. Remember, if you hang out in the red light district long enough you will likely end up with syphilis and meth-mouth. And, no, the hookers aren't virgins either. |

lol PhotoShop + free + legit do not add up PhotoSHop on it's own starts at $699, is the CS4 Design Suite it's $1799! But if you're asking about it, you probably don't know how to use it anyway, and the above suggestions are great ones! |

I have not used Gimp... but have heard great things about it. I use paint.net. That is free and works for me. [soapbox] And, just to put this out there. Programmers/developers put a LOT of time and effort into their software. Some put their lives into it. The deserve to be compensated for their work. So please don't download pirated software. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. [/soapbox] |

I believe photo-shop also has a dumbed down version which is more than adequate for about 75-100 bucks |

If you don't have any Photoshop experience and just want to do basic editing, photoshop.com is a great alternative. I think you can even use it on an iPhone. -J5 (Message edited by jonny5 on March 29, 2010) |
