+1 on "Do Not get Polarized glasses" for the reason 99savage mentioned: Polarized lenses make such things as oil spills and water on the road invisible -- The very things we are trying to avoid.
That bit was mentioned by Motorcyclist magazine a long time ago along with "Do not chew gum while riding" -- two things I especially thought were cool at the time (a long time ago...) but have thought twice about since. Don't want to be choking on gum I accidentally inhaled as I gasped when my front tire slipped on the oil film I didn't see.
Oh yeah, +1 on the Ray Bans. You can get prescription lenses ground. |

+1 on the Serengetti Glasses
I have two pair with the driver lens. One smaller frame pair to wear with my helmet and another for everyday use. The are bar none the best I have had. I also have RayBans, and many different bicycle glasses, no comparison. |

My preference is Ray Ban wrap arounds.
Never wear polarized sunglasses under a visor. The reflected light bouncing around creates blind spots.

A lot depends on the quality of the process. 'Typical' sunglass quality and light that has passed through a convex surface is a bad mix.

For riding I have a pair of Wiley X with both the dark & clear lenses. 1 pair of glasses for night & day.

Again, I gotta disagree with the assertion that polarized glasses make oil invisible. In fact, any moisture on the ground at all is so incredibly visible that I'm having trouble understanding how anyone could think it was invisible...
I'm confused here. I wear Polarized Oakley V's under the helmet, with and without tinted visors. In the car I wear Oakley Polarized E-Wires...
I can see every pebble and imperfection on the ground, and when I'm on the water I see every tiny detail of the water's surface, including tiny drops of oil which show up as little rainbows.
I think maybe we should conduct some product tests to see what the difference is...
Maybe it's my cybernetic eyes! 
Oakley is another brand where you can get prescription lenses fitted.

I wear sunglasses almost religiously. At age 47 and still not needing eyeglasses, I credit the shades with helping to protect my eyes from more rapid degradtion.
I like polarized lenses too, worn them for decades. I just recently noticed what Danger Man is talking about. Used to have a nice pair of Nike polarized, never noticed an issue, clear as can be.
The polarized Bollé glasses that I purchased recently to replace the broken Nikes make splotches on the helmet lens. Turns out they are made in China. I didn't see that when I bought them; it's tiny barely raised print in a very inconspicuous place. I've also noticed that the Bollés have a significant optical factor where removing them after wearing them for a prolonged time left my eyes unable to focus clearly at a distance. Stay away from Bollé. They are advertised as optically neutral. Not. If I hadn't caught that, those Chinese glasses darn near ruined my vision. It took weeks of not wearing them and doing intentional focusing exercises to regain my clear vision. |

I've found out over the years that there are certain items to never skimp on.
Tires, brakes, and eyewear being right at the top of the list.
I'm with you Blake, I wear sunglasses all the time. I've got a pair of Oakley T-Wires that I wear indoors most of the time as well. Keeps me from getting a headache from all the crappy fluorescent lights. The tint is very light and the lenses are actually coated with titanium, but they block all UV and other harmful rays. Plus they weigh almost nothing so I sometimes forget I have them on. |

+1, cheap is good. I've gotten into the habit that if I need some shades, I head to the local Walgreens and try on all that I like until I find a pair that "clicks" with me whilst looking outside on a BRIGHT sunny day. Gotten into more of the medium tints than heavy tints- on overcast days these still work.
Growing up, I was into Gargoyles- had several pair over the years, good stuff. Maui Jim's are nice too, just big $$$.
My favorite shades of all time were glass- lensed Revos, with gray metal frames decorated with a kewl filigree pattern. Story was that the lenses were optical grade glass- never had anything before or since that gave such quality vision. (Revo has been bought out by Oakley since, IIRC, and they just don't make them like they used to.)
With my contacts in, I'm lucky to have near 20/10 vision- nowadays I wear my glasses most of the time, with them I've still got 20/15. The frames came with a super cool double set of clip-on shades. One is clip with dark lenses; my fave and the one I use the most is a hinged clip with PERFECT tint for driving/riding. When I lose light, I just reach up and flip them up. Like what the old folks use, but actually cool looking. Got the eyeglass frames at a discount eyeglass shop, was very pleasantly surprised to find and buy what I got.

O so i went in to get a pair of RayBan and well I ended you with the Maui's anyway. I don't do aviators and This years RayBans weren't doing it for me. I went with the Maui Jim's South Shore. If they don't work well under the helmet I have a few pairs of cheap riding glasses. Thanks everyone for you input! |

I am a motorbike roadster from Hongkong. And i am looking for a pair of motorcycle polarized sunglasses. There are so many glasses on the market today and i find two sites whose sunglasses attract me most. I don't know which site i should trust.

Over the years I have almost exclusively trusted my eyes to oakley. Besides they are (at least they say on them) made in the USA. |

I'm on my 3rd pair of Oakleys in 11 years. First pair stolen when jeep got broken into, second pair still going strong in the rig and the newest pair I bought last year in the car and out and about. You only get one pair of eyes, treat them like gold. |
