I wonder how they compare to the OEM XBR/S tires. |

I wonder how they compare to the OEM XBR/S tires. You mean the "standing up during braking" ? No thanks. |

Wonder how they compare to Pirelli Scorpion Syncs... those things felt amazingly light the first time I picked one up. |

I was thinking of weight comparison. I know, I was being sarcastic a little. I blamed the lightness of the tires for the standing up, it only did that with those tires. Those Dunlops were pretty dang light. Too light. I think they caved a bit too much off. After 1000 miles in the mountains.

It's the mis-matched front/rear profile that does it Glitch. The rear was too flat. It was more like a 185 with a fairly flat profile. |

Don! Good to see you again! I'll still wait til someone else tries them. Besides, I need a more mileage oriented tire, and I've got a feeling, these are more track oriented. Gone are the days of changing tires and oil at the same intervals. |

+1 on the PR2. I had 12K on mine last summer. Could have gone much further but was going on a trip through TN, NC, SC, GA from Chicago. Didn't want to do a 3,500 mile trip on a set with 12K on them. Looking back it might have been OK, but didn't want to risk it. |

How in the world are y'all getting so much mileage?!?! I'm running Pilot Powers now (got a killer deal on 'em), but before that I was running Pilot Roads. I might have gotten 6 thousand miles out of the Roads. |

How in the world are y'all getting so much mileage?!?! Simple. I don't live anywhere near Suches. I wind up riding mostly on the harder compound in the center. Around here a single compound tire just wears flat in the center. The dual compound maintains it's profile much better for me. These may not even be a good choice for those that live near areas like Suches. I would guess that in that area it may wear into more of a diamond profile. Have I mentioned lately how I loath you? |

The dual compound maintains it's profile much better for me. I may have to try a set. These may not even be a good choice for those that live near areas like Suches. Charlie says they're great once you get used to them. They have an "odd" feel when transitioning from one side to the other. Nothing to fear, just a different feel. Have I mentioned lately how I loath you? Not only do you have an open invite, also included is a free twisty tour. It's the best I can do |
