WOW! I can't believe we are going to be able to read/see this bike. I thought HD would have strapped the bike's incinerated, crushed metal on a rocket to outer space so that no one would have any idea of the progress Buell was making. Hopefully it is a great review! When does this hit new stands? |

With Cycle World's connection to Buell, Erik, and Steve, this may be an official, unofficial report. Hope so. I still cannot believe HD turned down two offers to sell the Buell group. In the story, there was even rumors of building the Spyder in East Troy, since they were not going to be producing the air cooled Buells, just the Water Cooled ones. Interesting. REX |

This is bad for my blood pressure. Being reminded about what FU HD did just makes my blood boil. There will be another day for Buell. This bike, or something even better from Buell will see daylight. I am convinced of it! |

I'm just hoping it happens sooner, rather than later. Doesn't Erik turn 60 in a few days? |

I'm not greedy. Give me a new EBR equivalent to the XB: Liquid cooled, 120 hp, radical steering geometry, underseat exhaust and reasonable riding position for all day rides. |

60 really? I would have guessed 50 at best but wow hes kinda old. He needs to get on the ball with making a new street bike and company before he crokes. |

>>>I would have guessed 50 at best but wow hes kinda old. Hahahaha . . . I just got off the phone with Lloyd Morgan, the engineer who makes the best overhead line transmission pulling and tensioning equipment in the world. http://www.morpac.com/stringing.shtml He thinks "Erik seems kinda young". Lloyd's 91 and in the office daily doing what he loves. . . . Perspective. I'm 56 and have friends who are the same age as me . . . some are old and some are young. The body marches like a metronome in lockstep with life's hourglass . . . the mind goes where you direct it. . . to the hills . . .to the valleys . . . .it's largely a matter of choice. To get a keen sense of the dynamic . . . watch a 23 year old try to ride a motorcycle like Reg Kittrelle. |

Chuck Norris just recently turned 70. Kick ass people only get more kick ass as they age. Was the bike honestly borrowed without H-D signing off? Man, I bet they'll blow a gasket when they see this! ~SM (Message edited by Swordsman on March 23, 2010) |

You know, possibly the best part of this whole thing is it REALLY has to torque off some of the tight-asses at HD. Can't wait to read the issue; can't wait to see what Erik V2.0 turns out. |

This is a preview of the magazine. Choose wisely, as you only get three "zooms". There is a really nice article on Buell that will make you crazy with rage when you find out some of the stuff that went on. http://www.zinio.com/browse/publications/index.jsp ?productId=77581896&affId=cj&rf=cjaffcatalog&csid= cj |

"Chuck Norris just recently turned 70" Chuck Norris doesn't age, his roundhouse kicks warp the space-time continuum. |

Guess not even Buell could come up with a belt drive strong enough for that monster (and narrow enough to be useful). |

Interesting subframe... and WHY would they waste time with passenger pegs and a back seat?? |
