Anyone have experience with the cheap Chinese bluetooth intercoms? I'm sure there is a portion of the "you get what you pay for" just wondering if the price difference is enough to step up to the Blue Ant F4 or something cheap like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=250589713634 A2DP stereo is one of the things I'm most interested in. |

I doubt for $69 you're getting true A2DP stereo. Most likely linked mono sound. I wouldn't screw around, just get the new Scala Rider G4. http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-intercoms/c ardo-scala-rider-g4/review.htm |

They also really liked the Blue Ant Interphone F4, but I'm trying not to spend the $200+. |

Hmmm.... On the cycle mono sound might be good enough, in my car in the summer I normally have wind blowing through the open window, not much for stereo there either. That Amazon one looks to be the same as the one on ebay that I linked only the double set which sells for the same price on ebay. It's really tempting to just grab the cheap set and give it a try. One concern is that some of these cheap products do not have FCC certification. I did find some negative comments about all of these BT devices, apparently they are not designed to have the battery replaced! So after the 2 or maybe 3 year life span your device is junk. I could probably still manage to replace it, but it does irk me a little. I'll have to think about it, just dropped $200 on some other items that I'll need for my daily commute and still would need to buy a BT capable player or burn batteries in my laptop. Getting back in touch with some old friends that ride so I might see if they are using anything, would need to have all the same brand to function (another irk) and would also like to have something for my brother for the few times that we might be together and for his commute (iphone 3G with A2DP). And before someone jumps on a says I shouldn't be on the phone, don't you worry, my phone was made year before BT every reared it ugly head, it is first generation digital and analog so no problem ignoring the phone for me. Music during the commute and occasional groups rides is all I'm looking for. |

If it was built with the same quality as their drywall and various children's toys....JUNK! |

No, the Blue Ant F4 is around $225 each. If they were $60 each I'd already have one. http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/blueant-interph one-f4-stereo-bluetooth-motorcycle-kit Webbikeworld really liked it when they tested it. |

Didn't I post that 4 posts earlier? That was my point, the review seems pretty positive. For $120 FOR THE PAIR it might be worth a shot. ac |

For some reason when I clicked on it, it sent me elsewhere on their site. |

Well I got the F4 Blueant headset as a gift and tried pairing it with my Apple Ipod Touch and it paired ok. Stereo music in the helmet. Now I need a BT transmitter that will plug into my Quest II GPS so I can get spoken navigation prompts in the helmet. I guess I could also use something like this to plug into an FM radio or whatever. |

I use a bluetooth transmitter with my GPS. I also use it with my Ipod Touch because it saves the battery of the Ipod. I have a Scoshe and it seems to work just fine. ac |

Is that the "Scosche Universal Stereo Bluetooth Transmitter" you are using? |
