I wish I could be going to Homecoming but I started a new job this week. I would like to meet all of you thread screachers in person. I like this guy, he needs to be an advisor to the wimps in Washington that have no respect for the flag unless it serves their political goals. The men and women of USSOUTHCOM and supporting service capabilities and people (with USNORTHCOM supporting) did a fantastic job in Haiti. It is an abomination not being able to display OUR Country's flag ANYWHERE. The flag of our Country, Colorado and Canada is raised and lower each day where I work. Interesting your choice of picture there. I went to a Tea Party meeting last weekend just to see what they had going on. Signed up for their emails. This is an email from Friday. I have no idea what they may or may not really know about people using that BO Socialist picture, but the Tea Party movement certainly isn't promoting it. At least not the group local to me. Of course they all take their marching orders from Fox News, so they must all be on the same page.

Let's see them issue a press release about how their core values are in support of equal rights for minorities. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them to do the right thing. I've seen that video before. What I always wonder is if anybody told those guys what they were doing is wrong, and why. I see alot of other flags flown without an American flag, were they trying to do the right thing by flying the American flag, but are ignorant to the how and why to fly 2 flags together? Don't get me wrong, I find it offensive to fly the flag like that, but if someone told them would they have maybe said "oh, I didn't know, that makes sense let me fix that" Yeah I know, doubtful but I still wonder.. | ||

As long as the Tea Party protest of ObamaCare has been raise in this thread, I have a question for those that are in favor of ObamaCare. It seems that those in favor seem to think that this is something that is a basic human right. If it is a right why is it different from all of our other rights. Other rights are things that are granted by our creator and the government isn't allowed to take away from us. ObamaCare is going to legislate that each of us will be mandated to purchase health insurance. Since when is a right something that the government requires one to purchase? That doesn't make any sense at all. I suppose that is because it isn't a right after all. |
