I got a buddy that is opening up a MC shop here soon. I asked him what oil he was going to carry because i need an Amsoil dealer close(i know i can get it at discount from Amsoil site). He told me he was going to carry a few different brands to start as well as Amsoil and Klotz. Call me young(33) but what the hell is Klotz? http://www.klotzlube.com/ I never paid much attention to synthetics before 2006 when i got my first Buell, and always bought Syn3 or Amsoil. Just curious if anyone has used them and what you think. Will it be good for the Stator's in the Buell? I'm not asking everybody what oil i should use or which brand is better BS.. |

Klotz was what the funny smelling bikes were running at the motorcross track back in the 70's, you know, when they used two strokes for engines.... |

I have used Klotz binding agents in my alcohol/methanol injected GN and SS Truck. They make good stuff in that aspect. Not sure about their engine lubricant products. |

Rotella T synthetic should be on the shelves, popular with a lot of different cyclists. Mobile 1 V-twin would be a good one if the price is right, you can get it for $8 a quart at several auto parts stores. Find out what the local auto stores are stocking, then stock something else so you don't have to compete with their prices. Their volumes will kill a small shop if they are trying to compete. |

Well i can tell you only 2-3 places in my area are carrying Amsoil, and are a ways away. I don't know of anybody carrying Klotz. So they are good there! I may have to give the Klotz a shot.. The name just makes me laugh every time i hear it!!! |

Klotz castor bean oil is the best stuff there is for two strokes...as long as you run WFO. They have synthetics too. Don't know how they compare to the bean oil,but they probably don't foul out at low speed like their bean oil can. I get mine.....online. |
