AKA Carl Edwards. What an arse. Maybe NASCRAP will have a new "Carl Edwards Award" for the most dangerous driver... (Message edited by Paint_shaker on March 08, 2010) |

Not so quick! Guess you haven't seen the crap that Keselowski been doin'for the last year or so... there are many a driver looking for his head! Not to much a problem in my mind, unless they start hurting the fans. I kind of like the aggressiveness thats happening...it's been missing for a few years!! |

Racing, rubbing, bumping, banging while jockeying for position during a race is one thing... But to be so many laps down and to intentionally cause a wreck is plain stupid and dangerous and shows no class. Somebody (fan or driver) is going to get injured or killed... |

Well, While I agree...Keselowski (depending how you want to look at it) did the same thing to Edwards last year. That one unfortunately hurt some fans! |

But to be so many laps down and to intentionally cause a wreck is plain stupid and dangerous and shows no class. Somebody (fan or driver) is going to get injured or killed... That's the key. He had no business "racing". Make your laps for points and stay out of the way. Sure Keselowski is no angel but you can't have the "Days of Thunder" attitude. Look at what damage was done to the windsheild. Could have crushed his skull... |

If you want to say it a payback from Talladega, that is BS. BK did nothing wrong at Talladega, he was obeying the Nascar yellow line rule. At Talladega the yellow line is out of bounds and should be treated like a wall, do not cross it. I actually gained a little respect for Edwards at the time when he said BK did nothing wrong. I am so sick of Carl, he has caused as many wrecks as anyone else out there. Hey Carl, if you are going to wreck someone, lose the white gloves, it was too easy to see you crank the wheel right. |

My options: Considering that Brad wrecks me with no regard for anyones safety or hard work, should I: A-Keep letting him wreck me? B-Confront him after the race? C-Wait til bristol and collect other cars? or D-Take care of it now? I want to be clear that I was surprised at his flight and very relieved when he walked away. Every person has to decide what code they want to live by and hopefully this explains mine |

They should put small spikes on the back of the rear bumpers, that should make drafting interesting. |

The first wreck that put Carl down 100 laps was his own fault. He tried to put his car into space that was just not there. NASCAR should sit Edwards out for a handful of races. |

Going fast in a car, in circles, just has ALWAYS been BORING to me- give me some REAL racing, motorcycles on a serious road course, ISDT hare scrambles, flat track, motocross- heck, anything except NASCAR. Goobers. |

My issue is that the races are just WAY too lengthy. If they would break them up into three of four shorter races, I might be more interested. The racing is actually quite entertaining. |

The Daytona 500 a few weeks ago was something like 7 hours because they red flagged the race twice. I say let them drive around the pot hole, it only makes it more interesting. |

My issue is that the races are just WAY too lengthy. Back when Ann's grandmother was still alive and kicking, we used to visit her every Sunday. NASCAR would always be on, or just starting. I'd let the drone of engines put me to sleep. I'd wake up when the race ended, without fail. Good ol' NASCAR, helping me sleep through the visits with the inlaws. |

Glitch, that is the way I watch them! First thirty laps, then either sleep or work up to the last thirty. I have always been a Nascar fan from before being televised more than half a race per season, when women were not allowed in the pits, when nearly all of the infields were green grass on race weekends, when die cast metal was part of a car, not a $30 toy on a shelf. Time when you could not get the same jackets the pit crews of your favorite teams wear, it was particular to them and meant more than you came up with a hundred bucks to wear one. Probably more so a fan then than now, because it took effort to be a fan then, now it is in your face. Having raced dirt track cars years ago, I know how racing gets into your blood, not unlike some other obsession we all seem to suffer from. One of these days I want to go to one of those Richard Petty track day experiences. Yep, I'd like to ride a few miles in the shoes of these guys. |

They do race a few road courses. And most teams hire a ringer to run those courses.... |

Edwards is a DC. You need a DVR to watch NASCAR properly. Let it record for a couple of hours before you start watching. Fast forward through what you don't need to see and watch the finish in real time.

Not most teams, a few do though. I don't recall any road cours ringers ever winning the race. |
