That Pontiac version is.... unattractive. The Maloo is about as dead sexy a contraption like that could be. Even in purple. ~SM |

Exactly. And yes, used to mean. You say to any average joe or jane "I just bought a Hummer" and see what vehicle they think you're talking about. You, me, and a select group know there is something other than the GM "version", but the majority of the American public has almost no idea what you're talking about. |

Yup, the original Alpha was a sweet vehicle. It was a sad day the summer of 06' when we stopped production! You can get a nice deal on Ebay once in awhile. |

I agree. Not really fair to compare the two, because the Pontiac is a mid level trim, while the HSV is the top dog. The top Pontiac (G8 GXP) is more aggressively styled but still tame compared to the HSV. I saw a guy here with a GXP with the HSV body kit. I almost carjacked him, it was that freaking amazing. |

Too bad. To let a brand just die... |

+1 to that Rex, but GM was spread to thin and didn't have enough resources to keep them going. Only odd thing, Pontiac was never offered for sale like the other brands, it was just simply killed. Word on the street is that its more of a hiatus, and Pontiac would be revived when things turn around. |

Was reading my F250's owner's manual today. S'posed to check engine oil level every fillup. S'posed to let it set 20 minutes first. They sure have the 1125 beat! The range between "add" and "full" is two quarts. What a beast. I dig it. The turbocharger is about as big as the Buell engine. Funny pic of old "truck" (Nissan) parked behind the new to me '02 F250. In my best Ozzie accent...
That's not a truck . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THIS is a truck!

Blake, Ford Rancho? Chevy El Camino? You can't tell me they're gay with or without an extra H. If you ever get the chance to see it, watch the "Ute" racing from down under, that's about as gay as Nascar. F1? bunch of namby pamby prima donna's. |

Gggggghhhhhaaaayyyyy! Like a cowboy wearing a skirt. It just ain't right. I just never got the whole make a car look like a truck thing. Always thought they were odd, deviant creations. Not for me. You live in France, you are excused for your taste in moto fashion. |

The G8 pickup looks like a car with a bed, because thats what it is. Not posing as a truck at all. Most of the Dodge lineup on the other hand.... |

It's not a skirt, It's a kilt laddie! There are plenty of vehicles in other markets that could have an appeal here. Would be best if they'd also produce them here. Get some people back to work. And get 'ol bama outta the boardroom. |

Subi brat, gen I was one of the most fun vehicles I ever had, it worked in a pinch when I could find a Scrambler and the seats in the back were great for the drive in |

I love my H3. It has been a great vehicle so far. It would be nice to have some more power. |
