Hey Buellers
I just got back from Iraq and started to catch up on my reading and found out that Buell is no more. Now being the owner of an older bike, that just sucks. I really like the things the company was doing and it looked like there some great things coming. Now for the question, what is going to happen with parts support? My personal experiance has been a lack there of already for the 99 that I have and I am worried that I will lose out completely. Any info or input on this will be great. Thanks.
Ed

Welcome back and thanks here too. The dealers that hung on to the end, and especially those that are sponsors here will provide the best support you can get.

For some of us local service on stuff we can't do ourselves is gonna be tough. My local HD shop foreman told me they'd work on mine since it's sportster based and not to worry.

On the bright side, at least warranty work won't be a frustration on your bike.

welcome back and thank you for your service taz. glad you made it back safe. i just look at like this, no sense in worrying about something you have no control over. if you can afford it, go try and find one of the great deals that still might be had so if something does happen to one, it won't matter as much as to how long you have to wait to get back on the road again.

Thank you for serving our country! Check out the Homecoming thread under Storm Fronts. Maybe the gov will give you a little time to play now?

First, thanks for the service.

Second, our bikes haven't been in production for what, eight years now? So it's not really anything new. Like the previous posters have said we've already fished out the good sponsors and aftermarket suppliers. Yeah it may take a little longer to get something but it's well worth it.
