The dreams and aspirations of young Progressives/Socialists.

The fruits of a concerted, targeted, long running effort by America's radical Progressives/Socialists.

Stalin, Mao, and Marx would be pleased.

I think I'll take one more shot at capitalism and start making up about 50 million brown shirts.

looks like a commercial aired during MTV's "real world" where yoofs talk about themselves and get their feelings out. The theme is fashion and being unique but thinking similar.

Then again the more young men wearing makup and capri pants now adays the easier it will be to get food and supplies from their homes when the zombie outbreak happens and chaos ensues.

Please, no brown shirts. There already are the purple shirts. I was really hoping to avoid the traditional European way of political change. That revolution stuff never ends with nice people running the Guillotines.

I think that the 233 year old experiment in freedom still has a future. Vote the bums out is so much nicer than line them up against the wall, and really cuts down on the whole evil thing. Gotta appreciate that about a constitutional republic based on moral values and freedom of religion, and market capitalism.

The "progressive" movement in the U.S. since the early 20th century has had some good but mostly bad results. This seems inevitable as the "scientific" foundations of the movement are founded in marxism and is less revolutionary as subversive. The lie is the foundation of the Progressive ideology, the lie that "economic justice" involved robbing some people to pay others. A form of intrusive power that not only invites abuse and corruption, but is codified by it, in it's dishonesty of purpose.

Any form of ideology that relies on hatred & envy of others, and cannot be honest about it's goals, is inherently evil. This has been shown to be true by the many excesses and disasters caused by this religion of power that masquerades as an "economic system". It will never be known how many hundreds of millions of people have been murdered by Soviet & ChiCom leaders. Leftists ignore the bad that almost always happens in pursuit of a chimerical goal of "fairness" that only leads to conformity.

The spoils of socialism are provided to the organizer not the organized.

Al Gore couldn't give a crap about whether or not the environment is benefited by his proposals as long as he PERSONALLY benefits.

Obama doesn't really care whether or not America is benefited by his policies as long as he is at the helm and in charge.

The ultimate exposure of the policies of the socialist rest upon the organized NEVER the organizer.

They would rather be in charge of a smoldering pile than to be an average Joe in a vibrant society.

It can all be characterized by three words:

"I'm gettin' mine!"

Sounds too much like, from each according to his ability, to each according to his need, scary stuff indeed.
My youngest had to write an essay comparing/contrasting two political views.
He chose the progressive's platform, and the communist manifesto.
You should have seen the look on his when he realized he could barely do the contrast.
It scared him.

Luckily, most of them won't vote, as always. Until you can vote from your cel phone or your laptop, there is little to worry about from the youth as a political force.

That was some middle aged fool putting his or her words in kids mouths. I get the idea but please. The brown shirts are gonna have a chance that's for sure. The only ones to blame though is ourselves we ultimately are responsible, the 35 to 50 year old generation. We are currently IN CHARGE!!!!!!!

Where are all of those fools now bragging about their progressive leader?

Answer: in college waisting someones money looking cute and pretending to be different and intellectual. Or if they are the hollywood activists they are buisy making videos asking for donations to haiti to quell their rich guilt. The guilt they help perpetuate onto banks and corporations or anyone financially well off.

What a joke these people are. Their message is as sound as john edwards presidential bid.

the 35 to 50 year old generation. We are currently IN CHARGE!!!!!!!

I did not vote the current president or his Veep in, sadly to many "public servants" are IMO not in it to serve.

I have paid into the Social Suck-urity all my working life, 4 years ago a court in an attempt to be "JUST" releaved me of the large portion of my modest retirement, in a divorce,
When I am no longer able to work what will I get, I will be paying on the 10 Billion that I did not approve of too,

suck it up kiddies, to many Gen X & Y folks
Bought the Blow - Boma BULL-SHIT
dont like it, Vote em out
Hint your first clue should have been during the debates, when he proposed to fine parents that did not have healt care for the kids, So when you can just barely pay the rent, and by gas & gro How you gonna pay for insurance? and or a fine?

any time Insurance is mandated, it instantly gets Very expensive,
You know why the insurance industry does not need a bail out? they need money, they raise the rates

I'm all for responciblility, as soon as the goverment gets the out of my pocket I will have the means to be so....

Rant off......}

Reminds me of the 60's with different cloths and hair.

"Don't trust anyone over 30 man..."

Sad thing is the only thing they wanted to do from their video is a huge program to have government push technologies that can't stand on their own. It won't be long before these kids start actually paying for these government programs and will start to rethink that wisdom. Then they will realize that they have become their parents.

If Generation Wii is so g-damn technological advanced, well educated, innovative and culturally diverse.... Why do they need a government bailout to get their message and program out?

.... psst Hitler nor Lenin never had one.
And on another note, the millenials would be my children (if I bred and had any) they would be the kids of GEN X or Y, not kids of the babyboomers. the math just dont work.

So we have a rising aging medicare dependant population in increasing numbers... and a new batch of entitlement idealists?... You working Gen X'rs are about to get squeezed from both sides. Welcome to the new Waaa generation

The upside is that my kids, who are being taught integrity, responsibility, self reliance, and respect, will look extraordinary in comparison to many of their peers.

As their parents, we already hear it from teachers, babysitters, and friends. As they grow up, they will here it from bosses, leaders, spouses, and friends.

Lots of their peers really are as bad as it sounds. But some aren't, and they know it and respect each other. There is some hope there...

I suspect that their estimates of their own popularity are exaggerated. "Generation WE"? Not.

I'm looking for the majority of their generation to announce their views, the views of generation "FREE." I'll get on board with that kind of movement. : )

I like how the man in charge is in his 40s-50s. I doubt he qualifies as a Gen We. And like all young Americans, they won't vote anyway.

I watched about 1:50 seconds (about that much too long). Let them not sing kumbaya. Let them not tell me how bad it is. Let them not ramble on about how they are going to fix it.

I say, get off your dairey-aire and do it!

On second thought, Screw it, let's ride (Buells that is!)!

Unfortunately, the old saying should be revised as follows:

Those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it!

My son just graduated from collage. He was middle of the road politically (not bad when in collage). He has become much more conservative now that he pays the bills and taxes. It is a funny thing how ones outlook changes when it is your money being paid out.}

I am not gonna say the Dems did this the reps did that bullshyt they screwed us period. It doesn't matter who was or is president. Bush administration let big business kill us Obama is letting incompetent government and white collar wall street do it.The president hardly changes my life at all. My fing town counsel on the other hand and mayor those fockers are killing me. Along with my state and county governments more so than the idiots in DC.
I voted for Bush over Gore and Obama over Mcain. I had my reasons I was a fool to think change would happen but I felt I had to help make a change and I will always vote out a person I believe is not doing his or her job.

Actually I think the change I was hoping for did occur. The ability to have an open dialect diplomaticlly with the world again as GWB seemed to not be able to get that done. Right or wrong we still need the rest of the world to get things done. Especially if we are not gonna make anything anymore.
But the entire system is failing pretty good right now so I guess I was a fool to believe it would change
