With the continual snow & ice that we've had this winter you'd think that people would realize that the roads may be slick and that they probably shouldn't try to drive 65.
Today after the 3rd slick day in a row I passed a spot with 12 cars in the median or ditch in a 100 yard stretch. Now a normal person looking ahead would see a car or two in the ditch and slow down, but no, they just kept coming. I had a little chickie pass me right after looking down at her phone while texting.
About 50 miles later 3 pickups pass me running about 55-60, I was running 40. About 1/2 mi. later the front one spins out and rolls into the ditch. I was already 1hr. late for an appointment and the other two trucks stopped so I kept going.
All along the 100mi. drive there were cars littering the ditches with many rollovers. What does it take to get these morons to pay attention to their driving? As a motorcyclist it really pisses me off how the general motoring public acts like they can just drive like maniacs and everyone else be damned.
