I started looking into it, from what I can tell, it can't be done (Thanks Apple!). What you can do is use a Windows phone like mine, and run WMWifiRouter which turns your phone into a wireless router, then have your ipod connect to it via wifi. I think it is pointless though, because if you have a super cool Windows phone you wouldn't be using an ipod anyway |

If you're not in NYC, an iPhone is not likely to have as many problems as Court is having.. I've had 3 iPhones in the last 2+ years and have only dropped 2 calls, that I can remember of, in areas that the other caller had good service. And I use it like crazy. I've actually had so much going on with it that I've seen the battery life percentage drop while it was on the charger, but rarely. That's usually just when I'm downloading, listening to music, and surfing the web with the brightness turned all the way up, while talking on the phone. It is called Trapster, http://trapster.com It is available for just about every phone (hopefully not the iPhone), and it even will work on most Garmin and TomTom units. |

Closest Iphone competitor out there, on a better network, OPEN-SOURCE. Getting more and more popular everday and more apps everyday as well. Its not 100% better than iphone though, but very very close. The openness and million-times better network is a sure fire. Also check out the Nexus One, aka the Google Phone. Supposed to be coming to verizon as a tiered package. |

Thanks froggy! Now THE ONLY thing that I have searched and searched and can't get to work and pisses me off about this phone, you can't send someone a ringtone via text let alone a complete song! Its driving me nuts... there was a few apps I was told to DL and I could and everytime I tried it would say it was too large to send and it was only like a 15 sec ringtone... if someone has figured this out please share! |

Forgot to mention by getting one you will have less free time. Cause you will be able to surf and post on badweb anytime and anywhere (you have coverage). But very much worth it. |

It's quite entertaining that even in a Droid thread, folks need to bash the iPhone. Why is that? |

You can't have a discussion related to phones and available programs without mentioning the Apple Nazi's control over what you do with your expensive hardware. I mentioned something I do all the time with my phone and tablet, and a honest question was asked if an ipad nano can do it. |

All you MotoDroid users...This is some good shit right here: http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1871 082 Enjoy. Hell, the bluetooth headsets are even 35% off, don't even need a droid or account with Verizon to get them. I got the Samsung WEP870 convertible for $19.99...looks awesome and reviews online a A+. |

Mine showed up last night . Love (sic) the manual...I have bigger match books! I had to go online and download the PDF to start to even get an idea of all you can do with the Droid. BTW the WiFi latched right on to my home network and ask me to log in with my password. Wish Microsoft could make THAT as painless. |

Birdy, check the link I just posted. BTW, Microsoft does make it that simple. It's called Windows 7. |

I guess you are one of the few who haven't upgraded to Vista or 7 yet. |
