If smoking is bad for you, how come it cures Salmon? If, as Freddie Mercury claimed, fat bottomed girls make the rocking World go round, isn't it about time that the city of Hamilton received some recognition for its contribution to astrophysics? I would just like to say a big thank you to all those wonderful young people who stand on motorway slip roads (and in any weather) holding up boards telling us motorcyclists where they lead to. The person who coined the phrase 'as different as chalk and cheese' obviously hadn't tasted Kwik Save's cheddar. Like the Queen Mum, my grandfather was a frequent visitor to the East End during the dark days of the blitz, but he was never hailed as a hero by the people of London. That's because he flew a Heinkel.

I was doing some research, and I don't see any info online about the affects of smoking and how it affects Salmons Disease. I also can't find anything related to fat chicks and astrophysics The rest of the post was incomprehensible, so I didn't bother.

I understand the premise, but lack the specific topical knowledge to really get the punch lines Probably why I love the US version of "The Office", but find the UK version a bore.

>>>Yeah - lots of programs are dumbed down for the US. Any questions as to why? I have a class of 14 students. 5 are U.S. citizens. We are the home of "no child left behind". We have decided it's a "right" to find the slowest learning in the class and adjust curve to that person.

Well, It was just a gag - but I don't think it's cultural - just numbers. The larger the number of people - the more stupid ones have to be accommodated. Doesn't really matter where they are from.
