It's a cool bike, but this promo is a huge ripoff of Bubba Blackwells Buell ad. And not even in the same ballpark in terms of quality. The music is even a ripoff of a Slayer song. vs.

That was lame. The only enjoyable part of the BMW video was the guy assembling the studded tire.

my thoughts exactly, Froggy. the tire assembly was pretty cool. Buell guy with knee down in a sweeping left looks like adrenaline. BMW guy doing a burnout on ice, not much adrenaline. at least give me a smiley face. fail

I thought Buells had ugly mufflers. Look at that lump in front of the rear wheel on the BMW

So, at 1:55, was that laughter at the failed wheelie attempt?

I love the S1000RR, but that video was a waste of everyone's time and ZERO comparison to the Buell on ice... If i was in the market for another bike, that BMW would be the one!

The music is KMFDM. Buell on Ice is a WAY better vid.

Are you a racer or track enthusiast? I am neither. But why would that matter? I don't know exactly why i like it so much but i do. I know its got more power then anyone needs on the street, but so does a Corvette.

not even remotely comparable to the buell video.

For conditions in NZ I find them a pain. There is 120 beautiful mph in there BEYOND what they take my licence off me for using. And the Police are making best efforts to catch me doing it. Unless you are a track or race enthusiast it's a waste of half of what it does. Much better to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.

Who is KMFDM? Listen at 1:40. Total ripoff.

Perhaps BMW is attempting to highlight bike's traction control & ABS in its ice video? I don't see why massively studded tires are present if that's the case.

KMFDM is an industrial band, been around since late 80's/early 90's. Used to be into them years ago in college early/mid 90's. K - kill M - mother F - f**kin D - depeche M - mode

With the BMW ad, you keep waiting for something to happen. With the Buell ad, you have to pay attention so you don't miss any action. No comparison.

Somebody should tell BMW they don't need studded tires to do burnouts on ice.

Hey Uly, KMFDM is well known for their sampling and such. But there end products are outstanding. (if their tunes are your kind of noise that is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj_ZT4h82_4
