ok well where are my traction grips ?
lets see 3-3-10 , i pm'd tnxbrider . 3-4-10 reply received 2 sets in stock . i ordered and paid for both same hour . recieve order confirm from kathy.potter@bumpusharleydavidson.com .
2 days later Ft_bstrd is adverting in another thread that he has them in stock and sells them .
today 8 F***ing days later i get an email from david walker that they don't have any and can't get anymore .

Inventory #'s was off, is all I can say except I'm sorry...
We can't get anymore. So that is not an option... but if there was anything else that we could do to help, we would certainly try to make it up to you.

Sorry for the confusion.
I did qualify my remarks:
"unless someone has spoken for them and not had the order picked, I know I have one more set of the traction grips in stock."
Evidently, someone HAD spoken for them and not had their order picked.
It wasn't intentional. |

excuse me but i placed this order 8 days ago!!!!
i placed this order , paid my money , but you couldn't be bothered to send it to me ?
you sold my grips to someone else . didn't your puter tell you that they'd already been sold ?
CRAP service . enough said . move on .
thing is 2 YES 2 days after i'd placed my order you still hadn't bothered to fill it and ship it ! not to mention this email 8 days later pfffffffffffffffft .

ya they suck! i mean, i stop in to grab a few shirts and fatty forces me to let him buy me breakfast...
then i give them a call about another shirt, leave a message, and get a call back on it when they are supposed to be closed because they have been swamped but didnt want to leave me hanging till the next day...
yep thats sucky service to me...
because ive never heard of anything like an honest mistake... that could never happen...

Same thing happened to me but i look at it as a blessing, I didn't realize that i would have issues with the grips and my wind deflectors. So instead i got another hat!
Which is nice because I like hats.
To be fair though let him vent (assuming he is now done venting) I think it's well within his right. |

I agree that it is fine to vent. I completely understand his frustration as it frustrated me also. Trust me, I want to sell stuff and not just hang around and P people off.

i get the venting too, i get people venting at me plenty of days and half the time it has nothing to do with me or my service.
but you have to remember that one mistake does not a bad place make.
especially if they are more then willing to try to do whatever else they can to help in some other way. |

From all the dealings I've had with Bumpus HD, all I can say is "AWESOME"! I feel bad for Woody for the mix up and error but I wish we had a dealer set up and operation like them out here in So-Cal. Even on the phone they have been very pleasant to deal with. |
