Mmm, buffalo chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, last time I was at a Hooters I got lousy service, and the last time a buddy of mine went he got a rude prego (which I have also experienced, and have heard other stories of rude pregos). Years ago I used to eat there at least once a week, now I'd rather have Famous Dave's, Texas Roadhouse or Buffalo Wild Wings, though BWW is getting a little pricey, and gone are the cheap wing days. |

quote:many folks just don't have the cash for wings and beer.
They forgot to mention nasty and cold wings, warm beer, high prices, and lousy service. My taste in women is a bit *odd*, so I won't make any comments there. It was much better when my grandpa took me for the first time when I was like 12. |

Hmmmm... sounds like some of the Hooters in your neck of the woods could do for some retraining of their staff. Of course, I always tend to be there on "light days" (I avoid Monday night football nights like the PLAGUE, for example) so I always get good service. Plus, they know me as I've established myself as a polite, respectful guest who tips well. It's how I can get so many of them outside of the building to pose on my motorcycles for photos. |

Never cared much for their food anyways. Top it off the way their food is sold (buy fries separate from the meal? WTF?) The only thing they had going was the atmosphere and even that gets a little stale over time. |

Thursday nights in Lake Geneva, WI. $6 all the wings you can eat, and $1.50 domestic bottles! |

My fave bar has $1 PBR's and free wings for happy hour on Mondays- then Tuesday's a killer taco bar. Hooters wings suck- some of their other food is OK though. Lately their "talent" has been slipping. Someone should start a band called "The Rude Preggos". LOL |

Bah, around here if you want good wings it's Buffalo Wild Wings. Hooters? Please. Bout the only thing Hooters had going for it back in FL where I'm from (or even GA) was they were very open to sponsoring Bike Nights. I will give them that. |

I prefer their wings "naked" instead of breaded. Right now their three-mile island wings (naked) are my FAVORITE from ALL of the local hangouts. Tried Buffalo Wild Wings and at least the place we went was STUPID. Seemed like they had 300,000 wide screen TVs all tuned to different sporting events and all cranked to MAXIMUM volume. The waittress had to SCREAM at us to be heard and we had to SCREAM back in order for her to hear us. Never going back there again under threat of death. |

Quaker Steak & Lube has some of the better wings in Northwest Indiana area. We stop there during many of our local rides. |
