Winter time blues ... ... if only mighty XB was making like this: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-581535049 2893860613&hl=en# Instead of lurking under a sheet in the garage, listening to cold rain. |

Now imagine that on the Yamaha R6 with 16,000 RPM. TDC @275 times a second, good thing it don't really pull 17,000 like they first advertised. |

Good video, but it leaves out one of the most interesting parts of most high performance combustion cycles. The end of the exhaust cycle and valve overlap. G |

Mmmi_grad, The plug is indexed wrong. I noticed a different related video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-581535049 2893860613&hl=en#docid=-4733293919754933024 |

Back when I ran drag cars we made seven HP only indexing the plugs. Same plugs, same gaps, wedge style head. You need a dyno to establish exactly what each chamber/piston dome likes but the benefit is there. |
