Decided to buy American - looked around at all the Crossovers - liked the Cadillac SRX - Dragged my wife in for a test drive. It was raining - the wipers quit half way through the test drive - so the wife said no - I don't want that car. Which does not leave a lot of American options. The Lincoln/Ford options do not appeal to me. It's probably one in a thousand that are going to have this problem - and it's a lot safer then the Toyota brake problem. But it still indicates that these content rich - multi computer controlled vehicles - are going to have issues - no matter who makes them. |

raised the bar on customer service excellence when they did the suspension recalls on the GT-40. Huh? how many of those did they build??? 10?...lol....wow, that's a real sacrifice by Ford fixing that issue. |

audi's problem with the 5000, road and track blindfolded people and had them go forward and backward over and over, seems the cars were not running away with a stuck gas pedal, people were pushing on the gas pedal and swore they were on the brakes. |
