CHESTERFIELD, MO (KPLR)-- Caught on tape -- a Lamborghini pushing 150 miles per hour in the slow lane on Highway 40. A luxury auto employee is behind the wheel. On tape, you can hear one employee say, "Let's do it." They brag about dangerous speeds. Someone says, "That was 150." Then they put the proof all over YouTube. One man says, "Sexy. Aggressive. In your face." This was the doing of two St. louis motorsports employees. In a mattter of hours they were in jail. When did people start forgetting to get rid of all evidence of such a ride. If u are breaking the law it is not a good idea to put it on you tube. Don't know when it actually happened. I tried to find the vid on You Tube but no luck. I'm just lucky that my GPS max speed is known to LIE. Right now my max speed on the ST1300 is 313mph (not even falling off a cliff!!). | ||

I think the videos got pulled. The driver will be charged with a misdemeanor, wreckless driving, nothing else. The lambo store is 15 minutes from me, along with a bentley dealer. Most of the kids in that area have more $$ than sense, which was probably their target audience. Yep, theres a reason a lambo dealer is right there, lots of $$ hiding in the hills around it. | ||

Yaaawn, ..only 150mph in a Lambo? In Chesterfield at that? Give me a break! HA! That straight stretch of Hwy 40 is enough to hit top speed in a Lambo! I did 120 mph in my Kia on that piece of highway. Didn't youtube the vid in fear of being laughed at. Rookies | ||

I agree that is embarrassing to only go 150 in a Lambo. My Z06 Corvette will do 170 without even breaking a sweat. The lambo is good for 200+ (Message edited by queenofspeed on February 03, 2010) | ||

I think they said the guy was doing that on the airport road. In traffic. Pics I saw looked like it was around noon or so. I'm sure they got out on 40 as well and hitting 150+ there is easy. Very straight and smooth 3 and 4 lane highway for miles. | ||
