Man you read my mind. I just thought oh damn I hope the riding game didn't make it to archives. Looks like we may need a new challenge |

Sheesh, my bike hasn't been out of the garage since New Years Eve. Anyone have some Buell handguards I can borrow or buy cheap. That's my biggest problem (with riding that is), numb fingers! |

Hey, does it count if Debbie gets a picture of me, (jarhead) standing next to her bike? |

Nm5150, Open a www.photobucket.com account for free. Change the size by posting it there and then right click it there and save pic back to your computer resized. |

Goodness, that's a complicated way of doing it. Mac OSX does it natively, just "save as" and adjust your file size... If i ran a windows machine, I would simply use their image resizer powertoy: http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/In stall/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe It allows you to right click and resize in 1 simple step... |

Xb12xmike - Not just no, but hell no, horrendous as in AAAACKCKK!!! I'm not sure I'll like how the Buell guards will look, but I'm willing to give them a shot. Plus I think that sort of thing could be bad in a crash, if it's time to let go and get off the bike I don't want anything keeping my arms strapped to it. Even if you fell over at a stand-still (ice) it could be hard to snatch your arms out and roll out of the way. That sort of thing doesn't usually happen on a quad... Thanks for finding the link for me though, I know that stuff can take time. Bart - Prolly would be okay as long as one of you rode to get the picture. Bonus points if the uniform still fits? NM5150 - You can just use the MS editing software too. With my new camera I have to shrink pics by 70-80%. Right click on your image file, then open with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. Use the Stretch/Skew function and reduce height and width by 80% or so and see how big it is. If the file is titled I usually save it as a .2.JPG at the end of the original title to keep from bunging up the original. Then post that. It's pretty easy, prolly sounds a lot more complicated than it is. |

Find the picture you want in browse, right click on the picture you want, click edit, click image, click attributes, change sizes to 600 X 460, click OK, click file, click save as(you can do save, but it changes your original picture), give it a name, click save. Then close Edit page. On file up load page click open, click upload. When it shows 'file uploaded' page click close, click preview/post message. Have a beer, chill out, then do it again because it is actually easier than it sounds.

Well, we rode to two different recruiters and they were both closed, got there quota for the month. No, I don't think the uniform fits after 15 years, but it might be fun watching him try to get into it. Will it count if he just holds it up? (Message edited by barts_old_lady on January 29, 2010) |

no man...it took 20 secs. oh buggles ..what...ur worried about what people would think seeing you riding around with them on?? LoL.. seriously, ur safer with them than with big bulky gloves. (They were out of the black ones so i linked to the camo version.) With my heated grips...I wear my thin summer gloves down to 32 and below that my 3 seasons. I was worried at first but they are fastened with a small strip of velcro, I don't think you would have a problem in a fall.

Wasn't too bad, I had to visit my moms and bring her dinner before it got dark out. When I left to go home it was snowing, these mitts work.

Barts... In this case, it counts if you hold it up for him! Let's do it! Then get on with a new challenge, ya never know when the ice will melt here! I believe this is the first time I have seen the 'new riding game' thread hijacked. A double hijack in fact and I was part of it. Damn this winter storm anyway. |

I got a picture of my old jarhead, in his old uniform, (barely) behind my bike holding his military discharge.
Is this good enough? If this answers the challenge, I want to see your bike in front of sign welcoming you to a town that has the same last name as yours. |

I want to see your bike in front of sign welcoming you to a town that has the same last name as yours. Man, i'm not saying this can't be done, but in the winter months, this could take awhile! Might need to go a little easier! IMHO |

Oh yeah right, lol, as if I'm going to find a town in France with my name on it. A factory with my name I could probably manage though. Or a funny town name maybe. I think we may need to expand the criteria on this one, then again I may be surprised. |

Ok, Ok! In the spirit of the season, how about your bike in front of a snow man, with your glove on your mirror, throwing the shocker!!!! Damn, you guys really know how to treat a lady, LOL |

Damn, you guys really know how to treat a lady, LOL I love this place.... LOL even louder. Tell that old Jarhead to be thankful he can still get his uniform on. When I tried to put mine I looked like a hotdog busting out of its skin on the grill.... it wasn't pretty... but it was a good laugh |

Frank went out for about a 30 minute ride to charge the battery in the Uly. I made the snowman. Neither Frank or I know what the "shocker" is but we think it was three fingers but not sure which ones. Next Challenge: Your bike in front of a sign for a school, can be a grade school, high school or a school of higher learning. Ivy League schools are a bonus. The school mascot on the sign or by your bike is double bonus points. Lynn |
