Melt them down to make screws, nails and other building materials??? Although if they send a Ulysses or two they may be handy for the busted up roads. |

well it does say harley and buells so maybe that is the intention though i do not see the harleys as much use |

Well here is a funny story. After we nuked Japan Harley sent over a ton of bikes because that was the only way to get around because the road network was destroyed. I bet there is a similar situation in Haiti right now! Harley also moved a whole assembly line there (Japan) cause it was easier to build there than ship over bikes. |

yea, we're going to give these bikes to the haiti gubment for more of a tax write off but don't forget to visit our website for all your riding needs. i'm sure those harley will hold up over on those roads. |

They'd have done better to raffle them off at say 50 bucks a ticket, & send the money. I can understand the Japan idea after all they were milspec models presumably. If they've sent some Blasts & a couple of Cityx or something usefull I could get my head around it. But you KNOW any shiny baggers that turn up there are going to end up for presidential or ministerial use only. |
