Since we used to do stupid stuff like that...( I remember rocket motors made from CO2 cartridges and gunpowder....they made great high speed metal splinters! ) smart people started Estes Rockets & make prepackaged solid fuel engines...and the sport is so much safer now. ( as safe as any thing involving stuff going 200mph ) A muffler, gasoline & gunpowder? He's lucky to be alive. |

Damn,I've never tried gunpowder AND gasoline. Gun powder..check (lots of kinds) Fuse......check (6" aught to be plenty) Gasoline...check(race,regular or 10% ethanol??) See yah all later....... |

people in michigan are nuckin futz! i can say this very accurately, having been born and raised in michigan! too bad the only sleds we had when i was there required a very big hill, and some man made jumps! plenty of injuries even then! |
