Well, after following the thread in the beginning of January about the Reevu helmet, I decided to order one. It arrived yesterday evening. Took about a week from time of order. Quality seems to be very good. I've worn it on a couple of errands today and man is it fantastic. It's great being able to see directly behind me without having to move and dip my shoulders like I do when using the mirrors on the 1125r. It took about 20 minutes or so to get used to, but now it is just terrific! I also have a set of blue tint shields (front and rear) on backorder. They should be here in a month or so. Here are a few pictures:

That is awesome, wish I could try it on. How much did it cost? |

I, too, would like to know what the $$ damage was. How impact resistant is the "plexiglas" rear of the helmet? |

There is normal helmet under that plexiglas rear window so it should be as good as any other helmet. I am curious as to where you ordered it from. Glad someone finally bought one and tried it out. It has gotten very good reviews. |

Helmet, extra shield, and shipping was 295.99 Euro which converted to $430.12. |

I didn't think there was a US distributor yet. Thats a pricy helmet but could be well worth it. Keep us posted on how you like it and what you don't like. |

Fit is good. Seems to run true to the sizing chart. If you are over this way, give me a shout. My # is in the BRAN. Will probably take a ride down to the Quaker Steak in Pinellas Park tomorrow night. |

Yes, took a ride last night to see. No problem. The light is diffused by bouncing off 3 surfaces before reaching your eye. I purposely pulled in front of a car with some very bright HID lights and didn't have any glare problems. |

Probably get there around 6:30-7pm. I usually don't stay very long. Maybe an hour or so. |

I know what you mean. Too many people slugging beers and then riding off. I like to walk through and look at all the bikes, check out the vendors, etc. |

You bastard. Don't bring it to April Buells Day, it might just disappear I think it would be a little big on you. You don't have the Cro-magnon forehead, like me. Did another 50 miles or so today. Don't know how I managed without it before. |

Wild. I hope my lady friend does not get hold of one of these. Then she really would have eyes in the back of her head... |

Let us know how it is with night time riding with the headlights and when you have a passanger! Took a ride with my wife this morning. As expected , all I could see was her head. As I posted above, night riding is terrific. No glare and great vision. |
