Spank, did you happen to notice if the large metal Buell sign was still there by the check out area? Jeff |

When I left there it was still there...Think it said $300. It was one of many things that I think they had over priced!! ...but it was cool! |

I just tried calling the sale and Keith said the sign was sold. I don't know if I believe him or not, because he didn't seem to know what I was talking about. If anyone is going down there, can you check on it for me? Jeff |

Thanks Svh for taking the time and effort to get me a stand. The one you nabbed for me is a tuber sized one. Fits my X1 and S1 like it was made for it........Oh wait. Easiest rear lift stand I have ever used. Give me some time and I'll draw it up for those that want to make one them selves. My scanner shelled out ,so I'll have to find somebody local to scan it for me and mail the image to me.........../ |

I had no idea there were 2 different sizes there. Mine does have about a 1.5" piece welded into the middle of the cross bar though so maybe some of them were adapted. Glad it made it there ok. |

I can just see the elves ....when they changed over from the tubers to the XB's. Oh crap,we have to widen our lift fixtures........ Kinda makes mine special...one that slipped thru the cracks during the change over.../ |

I'm glad that I walked over to one of the 1125R's that were there to see if the stand I grabbed would work. There were a couple of different sizes, the first one I had was a bit small. |

between svh and ourdee, i am one happy camper. you guys are great. as far as the stand goes, i haven't checked it to see which one it fits up with but it has the rubber cover at the top of it which i would presume is to protect the swing arm. which would mean i wouldn't need those nylon washers. am i correct with this assumption. |

I bet you are correct as the tuber stand I got fits snugly against the axle. The XB stand would benefit with the protectors. My pit bull stands suck in that aspect. You have to be careful to avoid scuffing the swing arm paint. |

Dang, gotta measure my stand and see if it will fit now. But if the tubers are narrower and my stand is the wider one then maybe all I'll need to do is add some spacers (or washers). So the van sold? Who got the enclosed trailer that was gone before I got there last weekend? |

I was trying to ask if the van sold, but no-one has said anything. It would look cool hauling that HD trailer behind. I like the symbolism. |

Bump Does anyone have the Dimensions for the stands yet? simple pictures with a ruler would work for me. I dont have an extra set of hands to hold the bike level as I measure. |

Shipping may be a typo(?)$500.00!That's well worth reporting if he stands by it. |

I asked the shipping question "Did you put an extra '0' on that shipping quote? Should it instead read as $50.00?" |

Here's what I asked the guy pimping the box of Buell straps: $500 shipping? What is your REAL shipping cost? You must have a typo on your shipping costs unless you are personally hand-carrying it and flying it to me directly in California!! (which he COULD do for $500) here's his response:
quote:Two straps shipped @12.50 each, Four straps @ 12.25 each, 8 @ 12.00 each, 10 @ 11.75 each shipped, & 12 or over @ 11.50 per each shipped. Let me know.
So, I guess his $500 shipping is is perverted idea of a "discounted" shipping at "only" $10 per strap. FREAKING LUNATIC (Message edited by slaughter on February 11, 2010) |

Look at what he is charging to ship the crate covers. At least it is a better price. |
