The elastic hats do come in a lot of sizes from child through xx large. The only ones I bought were "one size fits all" but they didn't. Who knew hat type would turn out like an oil discussion thread? |

I agree with the quality shirt idea. But I have to complain about the screen printing. I two Buell Shirts that have been washed less than a dozen times and you can not tell what was printed on it. I have some H/D shirts I figured that came from the same printer with the same problem. The printing is also off of them. It would be a low selling item but a key fob or or soft key chain would be cool. Something that wouldn't tear up the bike. |

Be mindful that Buell . . . after 1997 had NOTHING to do with any shirts. That was all done by the nice kids at Harley-Davidson Motorclothes. Someday I should post a photo montage of all the "pre-1997" shirts . . they were awesome! |

I have to say they weren't bad Court, mine all seem to be white. Which is weird because I hate white t-shirts, but back then I was pretty much buying anything that said "Buell" on it. |

Thank Court, I knew that. It just seemed that the last few years of shirts they put out were of inferior quality. You just couldn't tell on the hanger. |

Someday I should post a photo montage of all the "pre-1997" shirts . . they were awesome! Sometimes the search function doesn't really work all that well... I'd posted pics of select Buell shirts - mainly the classic pre-1997 shirts - around the end of April 2006 (based on the dates the pictures were taken) and search was not my friend. Just trying to save Court some time by finding what's been posted before, 1313 |

There is actually a video floating around somewhere that would be fun to find. I met a fellow in 1995 named Joesph Gaspard when I was circling the country. We became friends and he'd join me on some of my test rides out in the Mojave Desert at the oddest of times . . like on Xmas day. A year later he thought it'd be fun to bring together all the various folks I'd met and written about so he, and Lorraine Sturgis ( a great rider who used to move my bikes from IMS show to IMS show while I went back to Kansas to do construction work during the week) organized an event in Porterville, CA that started as kind of a "come meet Court" deal. Unfortunately I couldn't make it at the last minute so they held it a second year and the same thing happened. By the 3rd year my good friend Graeme Ware, who started R.O.B.E. in Germany and who I took to the "2nd 1st Annual Buell Owners Homecoming in Arkansas) came through NYC on the way and we made a video that was hilarious and was played to the assembled group in Porterville that year. In the video I lamented about each of the riders who'd be attending and we stopped the camera about every 30 seconds and I changed into a different Buell shirt and hat each time. Fun times. Great folks. Great memories. The only person here, and I'm not sure where she is now, that was there then was the "D". |
