I bet the pundits and bloggers will chalk this up to Mass voters being racist and wanting a black president to fail. Then they will slander gays as well when they throw around the phrase "teabaggers" like they love to do. |

Lighten up. The parody is a scene from "The Downfall" with Bruno Ganz portraying Hitler. That same sequence has been used to parody Harley-Davidson as well as the parking problems in Tel Aviv. "The Downfall" is ironically apropos. |

Perhaps the republicans should attempt to exhibit a little of the class that they allegedly have. It seems to me that all I see on TV is a bunch of mudslinging, bigoted, hicks in expensive suits. And here well at times I wonder. (Message edited by drkside79 on January 20, 2010) |

Republicans tend to be afflicted with ADD. Satan is too kind a compliment. They are no where as Machiavellian as the Pelosi/Reid Congress but they tend to act as the Three Stooges whenever they gain power. (Message edited by reindog on January 20, 2010) |

>>>It seems to me that all I see on TV is a bunch of mudslinging, bigoted, hicks in expensive suits. That's Rachel Maddow. Believe it or not she's a female. The mudslinger might have been ma main man the Big "O" when he called a cop "stupid" 3 seconds have saying he had no information about what happened. That was so foolish even I laughed a little. **In fairness he said the cop "acted stupidly". |

Only a small time community organizer would get involved in microscopic details and judgments. Obama is not made of presidential cloth and this is becoming clearer to more people every day. You have been hoodwinked and deep down you know what I say is true. |

I live in Massachusetts, and, to me it seemed like if you voted for one candidate, you were voting for Wall St.(and their overly excessive bonuses Maybe so but Obama has done more for Wall Street than any President ever has and we all know he's a Democrat. |

Kanye a jackass, undeniable! The cop who was said to be acting stupidly...thats the cop I want coming to secure my home if a burglary is called in. As opposed to where I live, they just tell you to come in and make a statement for your insurance company at your earliest convienience, they don't even respond to my store when called by my alarm monitor for at best 25 minuits...and they are 3 blocks away! IMO that cop was performing his job per his training. Professor big mouth was the stupid party. |

If Obama wants me to believe he is on my side versus the bankers he will fire anyone in Treasury that has ever been employed by the top 50 Wall street banks. Rich bankers use my money to reward their friends. It wouldn't hurt to use the TARP money to pay down the debt, instead of spending it on new government programs. |

What, no comment from rocketsprink yet? Sorry teeps, I have a life outside this place. Long story short from me. Seems funny people voted for this guy on the hopes he'll stop health care reform when he comes from the only state in the country that has what boils down to Universal health care and he voted for it when he was in the state legislature. I also believe that now it will be even more obvious that the Republican Party is nothing but a bunch of wall street groupies and the party made up of nothing but obstructionists. Now back to the real world. |

Funny coming from a person that doesn't even live in my state. What we do have here in MA is a law stating that everyone has to have health care BUT the big difference is that the Gvmnt isn't paying for it. I'm unemployed and have to pay, yes pay out of my pocket, for my health insurance. Are there folks in MA that get free health care, yes. Does everyone get free health care in MA, not even close. |

The Health Care Bill is insanity. San Diego County is classified as a rural county which will hurt Medicare clients. Californians will pay 33% more tax per capita. Read on.... San Diego Union editorial: Boxer, Feinstein and ‘reform’ Plenty of bad news for county and state in health care bills Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 12:02 a.m. Congress has been debating how to overhaul health care for nearly a year. The House passed its version two months ago and the Senate passed its version nearly a month ago. But for all the attention given this legislation, surprises keep popping up as these complex bills are examined more closely. Here are two examples: •According to the San Diego County Medical Society, both the House and Senate measures classify San Diego County as a rural county for Medicare reimbursement purposes, not a high-cost county. The result, the society predicts, will be more local doctors abandoning Medicare, making it increasingly difficult for Medicare clients here to find health care. •According to a San Francisco Chronicle analysis, California would face 33 percent more in new taxes per-capita than the average state because of a largely ignored provision in the Senate bill. It imposes new taxes on health maintenance organizations, such as Kaiser Permanente, but not on employers that operate and bankroll their own health insurance programs. Because 43 percent of insured Californians belong to HMOs, double the national average, this means millions of state residents could expect to see the cost of their policies go up dramatically as HMOs pass along the cost of the new taxes. How could Sens. Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein, the veteran Democrats representing California, have voted for a bill that would sock middle-class Californians with new burdens in such disproportionate fashion? Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s description of the legislation as full of “bribes, deals and loopholes” seems irrefutable. No wonder so many Americans are increasingly skeptical of the health proposals. This is true even in Massachusetts, the most liberal state in the nation. In today’s special election to replace the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, Republican candidate Scott Brown has gone from massive underdog to narrow favorite – even though everyone from President Barack Obama on down has repeatedly reminded state voters that a vote for Brown is a repudiation of the beloved Teddy’s final legacy of expanded health insurance coverage. It’s more properly seen as a repudiation of really bad bills. If voters in the most progressive state of all can figure out it’s time to start over on health reform, House and Senate Democrats should be able to as well. |

"How could Sens. Perhaps they haven't read it? I mean, why would they? They didn't read the TARP and stim bills. |

Funny coming from a person that doesn't even live in my state. Now we have to live in a location in order to have an opinion? Then everyone here needs to shut up if they don't live in the state the topic is about. "MassHealth benefits are provided by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in cooperation with the federal government. Giving incorrect or false information may end your benefits. It may also result in fines, imprisonment, or both." Not by the Government? Huh. |

About Massachusetts Health Insurance According to the laws regulating Massachusetts health insurance, no individual can be denied individual Massachusetts health insurance due to health, age or any other factor. All Massachusetts health insurance policies are guaranteed renewable. This means that an individual is guaranteed the right to renew an existing Massachusetts health insurance policy provided the individual has not provided false information and has paid all premiums on time. No employer Massachusetts health insurance plan can deny or limit access of an individual to the Massachusetts medical insurance coverage. Information on the MassHealth Program The MassHealth program is a government-assisted health insurance prorgam. It is administered as the Medicaid program in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and can help cover health insurance costs for low income individuals and the disabled. Interesting. |

Now we have to live in a location in order to have an opinion? No what you said wasn't an opinion, it was pretty much an insult to everyone in Mass that voted for Brown. Why don't you tell me what you really know about the health care system in my state instead of just looking shit up. As nice as that sounds, EVERYONE IN THIS STATE IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR FREE HEALTH CARE. I know plenty of folks who can not get on MassHealth, myself included. Don't go throwing accusations about me either, I've had the same job for the last 10 years and always have had insurance, always paid my premiums, always did shit right. I was offered Cobra, that I would still have to pay a portion of, after getting laid-off but that only lasts so long. My company went from 300+ to <20 in the last 3 years. I was one of the last to go and knew most of the folks that got axed before me. I talked to plenty of them before I got RIF'd, I know how the Health Care system "actually" works in my state. Like I said, I'm laid-off right now and have to PAY for my health insurance. I know more people that pay for health care than don't. |
