I'd also pitch in for some re-dedicated memorabilia. However, I have to wonder...why would a poster or a picture be left behind? Maybe someone didn't *want* the memory. It's hard enough for us. Imagine how hard it would be to someone on the inside. |

OMG, That poster means alot for me as well. I babysat that poster to make sure everyone signed it. I can't believe that got left behind. I may try to see if it can be saved. This is just sad. Dennis,Tony and I worked our ass off on that event. |

Tony I thought the same. That poster was not presented to Buell. It was presented to Erik. Maybe they will release it to one of us. |

And Erik didn't take it with him when he left. Maybe he simply doesn't want it. Clean break you know? Like keeping pictures of your ex around...creepy. |

I have probably just offended several people. I apologize. No offense was intended. It's just that I'm pretty sure HD didn't send a security detail to the Buell offices to make sure no one walked off with any memorabilia. |

The $1M question is Erik in a position to buy a significant portion of this stuff and does he want to buy it? If he's going to start another motorcycle company, seems like it'd be a logical first step. Any thoughts on that? |

I think it was over looked is all. That was the biggest grass roots enthusiast event ever till this one this year. That was the 20th. HD was busy with doing the 100th. They were going to do nothing for us or Buell for 20 years. I don't think this is bad memories. God I hope my Son's paint job that he painted for Erik during the 25th isn't in the rubble. |

If I were him, I would not buy any of the XB tools, dies, jigs, etc. XB has been around for 7 model years. Not counting the hand built tubers (I'd say 96+ were the "mass produced" years) the tubers were around for 8 years before they were dropped. No, were I him, I'd be worried about acquiring rights to build the 1125 series, and it certainly appears like he is riding happily down that road. Good for him. |

The poster was obviously a mistake. I've written the liquidators to advise them it is personal property and not property of Buell Motorcycle Company. |

"Okay, I'm pissed off at the mothership all over again. BASTARDS!" +1 on that, big time "To make the sale successful we are prepared to deeply discount the inventory and sell everything in one month! It's stacked high and we're selling it cheap. " This on top of all the $$$ H-D has spent to clear bike inventory... |

The single looks like it's a Rotax Type 449 or relative of it. See http://www.rotax.com/en/Engine/2004/ATV/Engine.Mod els.htm |

Griffin- Here's a link to an Anony post a while back that confirms the name: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=290431&post=1680495#POST1680495 More Griffin parts pictured here in a photo I posted earlier. You know, even though it has been a few months since the announcement, I still can't believe it. I still keep hoping I will hear that Buell is being restarted in some way. That someone at HD changed there mind (I know this is not realistic, ok), or that another company is stepping in, or that EB has gotten together a group of investors, or something. Then I see a thread like this and it brings home the thought that none of those things are going to happen. That my bike truly is an orphan. That Buell as we know it is gone for good. I am sad again. |
