You take a chance every time you pull out in the road.The track days I have been to are very organized and you are put in a group with your skill level and you can request change if you think your group is too slow or too fast for you.I haven't made a track day on Peggy Red yet but I will ASAP.Way more fun and safe than hailin' butt on the street.IMHO |

The 20th poster still hangs in my room (without sigs) even though I've been Buell-less since 6/20/08. Its got "my" P3 and XB9S on it.
Seeing the carnage in the photos only reawakens my anger at HD. No chance, HD, in my garage ever again. Ever. I'll run rice or pasta instead. |

someone mentioned they thought they were going to have something earlier for employees for the liquidation- is that going to be the case or is it just for everyone starting the 28th?

This is a question I'd like to know the answer to as well. Your right, they did tell us that we would have first dibs. I've been calling the attendance line frequently(like the handout they gave us said), but it says nothing but the same message that was always on there. I sure would like to have a chance to buy my toolbox, sentimental reasons. Let me know if anybody finds out anything.

I just called the attendance line and they said that the employee auction would be the day before they open it to the public( jan. 27). See you all there!

I know what you mean! I'd like to have my tools & cabinet from the Bright Light station. I do need the cabinet but I may have had some tools my son in law doesn't have. More for the sweet memories! We do have first choice as I see now!  On a side note...
You have no idea how many days at work we Said we were gonna do that instead of work... now I wish we were still workin'...  Regardless, it was wonderful to see Deb! Miss all yous guys!

Today was the first day of the public sale. I wasn't able to make it there but a friend went. He's not a motorcycle guy. He just was looking for some tools. He picked up something for me that I haven't seen before. It's a "garage decoration kit". I guess it includes wall and table decals. He said they were like a fathead decal. It must have been "old school" because there were S3 Thunderbolt and S1 Lightning decals!!! I'm stoked to see it in person. |
