About the only time I drink beer anymore is end of a ride or lunch break on a ride and I enjoy 1 large beer I like full bodied European style beer. I can not drink American beer only Sam Adams or a micro brew. My favorite is Spaten beer from Germany

99savage-I sip a thimble of Sazarac Buffalo Trace dist.
Brumbear-Before I got older and lost taste buds and sense of smell I also liked one big robust beer, with riding buds after about 8-10 hours on the road. Another lost epicurian pleasure to age. Now I need to sip a good Rye or Irish to get some taste, but often can only find something like a George Dickle.

You got me started last year on the knot I wasn't crazy about the vanilla taste that kinda mingles with the whiskey taste but it was a definite keeper. I still like the pure tatse of a whiskey a bit a charcol flavor is about it for me

If it's smokin' hot out, an ice cold Corona.

If it's cold out, hot cider with Cap'n Morgan.

If my Irish is up...Laphroaig 15, or Laphroaig 10 year Cask Strength. Or Macallan 18. Or 21. Nothing like a good singlemalt that's old enough to drink itself : )

And if I gotta fix something...it's usually Coors Light. I don't feel bad if I knock one over in the garage LOL.

Old Overholt makes a fine everyday rye. Jim Beam rye is too sweet for my taste. I prefer Wild Turkey rye--good and spicy, inexpensive and available just about everywhere.

Tea of course, no no just kidding lol. Although I do like my tea and Antiguan coffee. After a long ride I like straight vodka. Or some V.S.O.P or E.O. (Very Special Old Pale or Extra Old. Never can go wrong with a good, aged Brandy.
