I talked with an old rocket scientist at our dog park last fall about this very concept. He turned out to be the designer of g-force chairs pre-spaceflight America. He was also helping design blunt force head trauma cooling devices to be used by medics in battle field and disaster situations. Interesting hour. Sorry I forgot his name. |

Hex, My neighbors Dad was one of the many NASA engineers. He designed the "crush" bases for the astronaut seats used on all apollo missions. His name is Art Hinners, do a patent search and you will find his patents. Cool stuff. The two of them probably worked together.. Brad |
