Not my kind of music. My kid might like it though. I like medal but mostly from 80's and 90's stuff and even what some of them from that era are doing now.
Yngwies not really fast more than he does alot of hammer on and pull offs with impressive alternate picking. Watch some of Yngwies stuff on acoustic. But when it comes to acoustic, no ones better than Stephen Stills.
Husker Du?! Holy f*ck, I thought I was the only one who listens to them. Hey, Brumbear, you listen to any Replacements? They wrote a tune called Something To Du in homage of Husker Du. They both started around the Minneapolis area.
I'm more of a Joe Satriani,Steve Vai,and vaughn fan. I've been listening to a group that Satriani is playing in. Its Sammy Hagar vocal's and Bass player Micheal Anthony along with Drummer from Hot Chilli Peppers. Its got a Van Halen sound but a Satriani twist to it.
5th no I never did but I bet wolfridge probably has. I also liked wendy o williams and the plasmatics but those vid's might not be family friendlythere is a newer band called the casualties they rip I will try to find them
We're not going to forget Iron Maiden are we? They're the godfathers of heavy metal. If you look up heavy metal, Iron Maiden will be the first on the list.
Just that bass man, ARRGGGHH, If only I could get my bass rig to sound like Steve Harris'. This is metal at it's finest.
