somebody had some extra time, cash, and shop access.... "What my Father doesn't understand is that you cant just through a bunch of parts together, cobbled from a bunch of different ideas and call it a bike. It takes talent, skill and craftsmanship. This "cafe racer" is exactly what the customer deserves, we just have to come up with an innovative way to waterjet their logo on it.... whats the company name ? Bag o' Ugh.com? Its a perfect show piece for their lobby. Bag o Ugh.com" |

In a Buell forum? Can we say 'Irony'? The yellow is a bit over done and the tail too plainly MV rip, but it looks like it would be a good motorcycle. |

the block of wood for a fairing is worse looking than the VRod Muscle radiator shroud. And I didn't think that was possible |

Here's somebody going the opposite way. Instead of making a Buell look like an import, they tried making an import look like a Buell. http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/mcy/1549679134.html

I hate to think this could possible be the Blue and White, 97' GSX-R 600, I owned and loved back in the day. What this chap did is a crime right down to the Red Bull bottle. |

Well.....let's see....I know everybody is different, but for me, motorcycles are a bit like women. 1. They all have some redeeming quality when it comes to the physical appearance, nice headlights, well made tail section, or the geometry is such that you KNOW it would handle really good...... 2. Looking at a brand new bike or one made in the back yard shows that bikes, just like women, no matter who made them or how well they are "engineered" will eventually break down on you...at the worst possible time. 3. While I might not want to rock the pink 50cc scooter/moped everywhere, two wheeled creatures are like the ladies in this respect, I would prolly want to ride it at least once to be sure I didn't want it.... 4. You cannot get your money back....even if you add a REALLY nice set of bolt on headlights or a sweet fat rear tire, it is what it is, you spent too much, see...women bikes..it's all coming together a bit..... 5. If you know how to "hotwire" them, or just turn them on, most will let you ride them without caring too much what your name is or where you come from...just a nice afternoon ride to make any day better.... So given the above criteria, of the Black and Yellow street fighter, the blue XB or the suzuki converted would probably be all fun to ride, cost too much, break down at the wrong time and leave you second a better offer came around...so why not? They look pretty good to me, all different and yet unique in their own way...just like those ladies should be.. |

LoL, don't be sorry. The fact that he didn't even get a bottle and is using a can makes it even better!! |

13 is fine with me. I don't mind the look of any of the stock Buells. Some of the Uly custom jobs appear to have been designed by Mr Magoo. |

Liquorwhere: LOL I see your points... however, while I`d rock any bike no matter how ugly and "unique" (read "grotesque") it is, I am not sure that would apply to my women! That attempt of a Buell/MV hybrid cafe racer reminds me of that hybrid... But hey, to each their own! (Message edited by wavex on January 13, 2010) |

I look at that bike and look at a Ulysses. If it wasn't for the yellow/orange trim....................... Nah, the Ulysses is still uglier. Uly, the only thing missing is "g". |

Come on guys, you know there's someone somewhere that would hit it. It may only be once cause his stuff would shrivel up and fall off, but he'd hit it. And I'd ride any of those bikes if the choice was between no riding and one of those three. |
