Where are you going to be in NY I would love to meet you guys and bring you's on a hudson valley and sussex county NJ tour I have the xb12ss you can use and a KZ1000 as of now but let me know please and njbuellowners.com will role out what we can Dave
Thanks Mike, got the PM. Hhhmm, this *could* change the plan a little. We were planning 2 up, buuuuuutt....hhhmmm we'll see There are a million things to see and do, but we have tried to work out a way to fit in some of the more important 'to us' things. It is more about the people on this trip. With only about 3-4 weeks there it is very limiting. We are hoping that anyone we can't visit on their own turf will be at homecoming. There are also things (like the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Clem's apparently ) that we want to see for sure. Lots of planning to do, but it's all exciting and we are not short of help and guidance.
When you guys are here I hope a good band is playing in town. We have some great venues and C-Bus does get its fair share of Rock-n-rolla's pass'n thru...
i have to agree with Mark i am not a big fan of wings. you must have a much better hooters down there Vern. the one we have here is awful. the food sucks and the waitress's are no better than the food.
Gary if your Hooters has bad hooters there is just no where to go with that. That is sad. I had been to the original one in Clearwater Fl many times when there were only three of them. The one in Brandon Fl was always awesome. The ones in Knoxville are pretty good.
They are like any business, only as good as the people running them and or in them.
Meeting up with a bunch of Buellers in NY would be cool Dinosaurs? I remember a post from a little while ago where a few folks met with Court for pizza somewhere? Spidey?
Kimbo Burger? I think I'm feeling a little queasy...How do you make it?...Hhhmmm well you just add the lard to the butter, then add bacon and some more lard for good measure... Just don't let me eat it before I get on a plane!
We'll post where we are and what we are going to do all the way along, so anyone who can make it somewhere for a day or even just a lunch can make it. There are probably people we've missed replying to along the way (I hope not though). If we have, just send a gentle reminder and we'll get back to you. We just booked our room at Alpine
The Dinosaur is a truly unique BBQ joint. The original was started in Syracuse, NY by some bikers a couple of decades ago. They've grown and now have three locations; Syracuse, New York and Rochester. I make it a point to stop at the Dinosaur in Syracuse whenever I'm passing through. (Terri and I will be stopping there on the way to Homecoming) The food is extraordinarily good. I personally think it's one of the best BBQ joints I've ever eaten at, and I've had BBQ all over the U.S. There have been a few of us on Badweb that have met at the NYC location for a meal a few times, and I don't think anybody has ever had a bad word about anything they've eaten. I'll give you my personal guaranty: if you don't like the food at the Dinosaur, you don't have to eat there again.
I take it this place is a rib joint??? If sooooo I can hook you up with the best we got. Its called Oh Dennis's. They make rib's that just fall off the bone. They have silver dollar potato's with a cheese on them that.... man my mouth is watering right now.
